Aspen Meadows Resort

The campus is beautiful and views from our room incredible to wake up to. Loved walking around and spotting all the sculptures. Excellent breakfast options, friendly and Uber-helpful staff. Loved reading about the artist who created and story behind it. Great choice for a modern art lover.

Small issue with heat, wish they would have pre-warned us how it worked because I messed up and made it way too hot before I realized and read the instructions on the wall. Not your fault but an extra reminder maybe in winter. We barely slept because it went up to 80 and we couldn't cool it down quickly.

So tranquil and relaxing

Occasional dirty dishes were left in hallway for 2-3 days The dryers were packed with lint in the lint catching mesh and down into the vent exhaust area- a fire hazard that should be addressed by a vent cleaning company.

Very quiet place to stay and convenient to the Aspen Music Festival. My mom needed a ground floor room and they were very accommodating

Aspen is expensive. This place is also expensive. It used to include free breakfast but that stopped during Covid.

Went to Aspen for our anniversary and booked a room here. Arriving we met Lance at the front desk who upgraded our room to a large and lovely suite and told us about the property. Amazing was what I thought when I opened the room door. They are located less than 5 minutes of the Aspen Gondola and have a shuttle to take you there and back. The driver Bebo, was so friendly and told us about the area we drove through. The restaurant at the hotel has incredible views & a deck to take pictures of the scenery. We had a breakfast that was more than enough for a day of touring and Karen made sure our food was exactly how we wanted it. Shout out to Rosa who helped make our stay very special. In fact, she picked us up with a private van within 7 minutes of our call from downtown. The staff is exceptionally professional & friendly. Loved this hotel and will be back.

This property is a unique architectural treasure, a Bauhaus Gesamtkunstwerk, perceived by the German architect Herbert Bayer between 1946-75. It is located a short drive from the city center in a park like area next to a forest. The staff was helpful and friendly. We liked the restaurant with its breathtaking mountain views and its delicious food. Especially the breakfast was a joy. Aspen Meadows has an excellent gym, outdoor pool and hot tub.

Large room and in city transportation bus

That transportation availability was not marketed correctly and I took a taxi van from the airport to arrive to the location during snow, while the hotel has a shuttle service!

We enjoyed our spacious apartment very much - it was nice to be away from the bustle of the city, and to be surrounded by the beauty of the mountains. Our view was spectacular.

The only down side is not being able to park near the unit. It was nice not to hear cars coming and going - but more difficult when moving suitcases , bringing in groceries & shopping packages. However, the staff were always available to help with a golf cart and a an extra pair of hands. They were wonderful!

The location is perfect, nice walk from downtown Aspen. 5min drive to restaurants and shops. The resort itself was beautiful! Trails that connect to longer trails near the hotel. We barely had to leave the resort to enjoy ourselves. Our mountain view suite did not disappoint, gorgeous view! Staff was friendly. Staff taking breakfast orders were very sweet, very accommodating and went the extra mile to give us a lovely experience, show us they cared.

You can hear people and dogs both inside and outside from our room. Squeaky toy squeaking next door and all. Very pet friendly, so keep this in mind. Could also hear kids shouting outside at night. Ice machine and other amenities are located in different buildings.

Clean room. Nice view of slopes from our room. Room had a small patio at the back with a large grass area for kids to run around.

Pool and parking a bit too far. The only food option has low rating (so we didn’t try). Downtown is not really walking distance. The setting is a good fit for a business conference.

The location is great for accessing everything within Aspen. You are connected to the Rio Grande Trail and our family loved that we could rent bikes at no cost and take them all the way to the Woody Creek Tavern and back. It was easy for us to get to and from the main street of Aspen and largely be secluded from lots of activity. When we first checked in, our room was not cleaned and ready for us to use. The staff gave us a room upgrade and free breakfast for two days to compensate for our room not being ready. The staff we communicated with were very friendly and saw that our stay was enjoyable.

They were still figuring out their health club reservations while we were there. We reserved the pool / hot tub for a half hour and were surprised to see that they allowed other groups to use them even without a reservation. In order to stay physically distanced, only two people were allowed on each side of the hot tub. The staff gave us a hard time for sitting three to a side in order to accommodate another family of two who wanted to use the hot tub even though they didn't have a reservation and we did.
