the room and location were perfect. loved the balcony. loved the text message system for hotel assistance.

it wasn’t clear that the pool and jacuzzi were available to guests…on the website it seemed like it was only for guests who purchased a Spa treatment, and no-one let us know otherwise… would have been helpful to have an info sheet to look at in the room describing hotel services and amenities. We ran out of reg coffee pods after day 1(only had decaf) so i asked for a couple more specifically saying not decaf, and they left 3 decaf and one reg coffee pods instead. we made due…not a huge deal.

I got hurt on the mountain riding my Mountain Bike. Alexis (one of the managers) went out of her way to walk and feed my dog and then take him to Critter Sitters so that he could be taken care of while I was in the hospital. Emma and Samantha were also very nice and helped me get my belongings out of my room so that two ladies at the hospital could pick up my truck and bring it to me in Gunnison. Everyone was just so nice and went above and beyond to help me when I needed it the most. Thank you!

Everything about the hotel was great for a family. We stayed in a double queen with valley view. The room came with a microwave full size coffee maker and a toaster. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for us as a family and all our snowboard gear. The main area of the hotel had a table for ping pong and a hot tube and steam room we used. The ski in ski out was GREAT literally right on the base of the main lift that had greens ans blues for the kids so we didn't have to walk far.

Unfortunately the pool was broken and our car (we have an expedition on 20s with a ski rack) couldn't fit in their parking garage.

The property was beautiful and clean except for the indoor spa and pool area. A bunch of kids kept leaving a mess the first day and the bubbles weren’t working for the indoor spa.

The prices for the food were really outrageous. Even if you just wanted a simple hot dog with fries, you were paying the price of a gourmet burger for a 10 cent hot dog. There’s no reason to gouge people on food like that. We are already paying a premium for the hotel itself. That was my only real complaint. everyone was so nice and professional and made us feel welcome. We had a fantastic anniversary

Elevation Hotel & Spa has the best location in Crested Butte. I have been staying there for years and you cannot beat the location at the base of the mountain, lift line right outside the door. The rooms are clean and comfortable, bigger than most rooms in CB and the views are incredible.

Elevation is expensive. Parking is additional, fee "resort" fee is additional. I hate that they cannot just include all the fees and give me a price. Also, the food in the past has been TERRIBLE so happy to see that the restaurant is changing to a Mexican one. Good luck because the food needs to be better. Lastly, hot tubs, hit or miss with how clean they are.

Everything except not being allowed to bring in roll away beds.

We weren't allowed to have any sort of extra bed or roll away option which made is extremely difficult of us. We travel a lot and have never ever been denied the opportunity for a better night sleep. Anytime anywhere we have ever requested a roll away bed AT A HOTEL we have been granted access to one and it's been brought straight to our room within a reasonable amount of time.

The staff was very friendly for the most part, the room was spacious and clean, very dog friendly, and the location was excellent, right at the base of the mountain.

It took about 20+ minutes to get the check from the restaurant after dinner so we could leave, didn't dine there again. The elevator situation was a mess, with only one elevator working (very confusing labyrinth of stairs), often times took 20 minutes just to exit the building during peak times. Possible health hazard during a real emergency

It was a great location, right next to the peak. The hotel itself looked nice and the staff was really nice.

$30 per night parking was a surprise. Our fridge wasn't cleaned out and contained leftover food from the previous guest. There is no AC, but luckily it got cold enough at night to cool the room after a couple of hours. The room didn't have a sponge to clean dishes.

The room looked right at the slope, so we could check the lines before leaving our room. It was steps from the lift and the ski valet was a nice service. The kitchen in the room was great, but it was set up very odd. The description made it seem like you would receive a full kitchen, but it was more like a dorm setup with a mini fridge and microwave

The room details a “Roman soaking tub” in the description. This was not the case. It was a standard shower/tub combo. I was Looking forward to a nice bath after a long day of skiing.

Key cards didn’t work for room or parking lot. They are aware of this problem. No air conditioning. No ice buckets. Swimming pool is a “wading” pool.
