Limelight Hotel Snowmass

The breakfast was excellent. It was as good if not better than many I have had at all inclusive resorts,Food was fresh and plentiful. There was great variety, something for everyone. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We looked forward to it every morning and there was always something new and different on the menu. We were celebrating our anniversary and the hotel gifted us with a bottle of champagne and sweets. Yum! So thoughtful.

Would prefer a real swimming pool. though the area around the spas was great for relaxing. A local guide regarding restaurants and things to do would be nice.

This hotel was a delight to stay in. I appreciated the free shuttle service to and from the airport. Our driver Tom was very personable and helpful with great tips about the area. The concierge was also excellent with helping us to plan our daily activities from hiking and biking to restaurant choices. I have never stayed in a hotel with such QUIET rooms. No hallway noise, no hearing others doors closing etc. We upgraded to a balcony and were so happy with that choice - it was spacious and comfortable. I appreciated the free daily bottles of water in the room. Most hotels charge you for water and this was a great touch. We also took advantage of the free use of an Audi (for 2 hours) to explore the area. The Limelight is A++ in my book!

One of the elevators was out of service. Our wait for the elevator was a little annoying, but did not deter us from enjoying our stay! We used the stairs when the wait was too long.

We came for our 20th wedding anniversary. I just mentioned it in passing when we were checking in. The next night the staff surprised us with a handwritten note, champagne and a beautiful fruit charcuterie tray. We love the outside area to hang out. It was wonderful to have a place for (other perole’s) kids. The restaurants were great. We loved the gondolas and the views. Also, the shuttle to the Wednesday night local Rodeo was perfect. The room was gorgeous and very well maintained. My favorite small part was the humidifier was refilled every day by their staff. The robes were so soft too. We would absolutely stay here again and loved every minute of it!

New hotel with a nice design. Spacious King room/suite. Ski in-ski out. Right in the center of Snowmass village. Large outdoor hot tubs. Possibility to eat/drink at the hotel.

The fact that they advertise a free first in first serve shuttle car service to go to Aspen town is misleading. They are not staffed enough to do that and it is not free. Only the ride to and from the airport is. The hotel despite being only 4 years old already shows signs of aging in particular in the common areas with stains on chairs. The staff is inexperienced and not particularly welcoming. It is not the kind of hotel where you feel pampered at all.

Loved the breakfast; it had much better options than typical U.S. hotel offerings. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and fresh. The linens were soft and comfy. I loved that Limelight uses duvet covers!! So many times I have been thoroughly disgusted by hotel comforters knowing that it has not been washed since last however many guests. Not at Limelight! Duvets were covered by fresh, soft, and clean covers. Finally, there is plenty at the hotel to entertain a 6-year-old (and younger/older) kids--and I appreciated it: pool, hot tub, outside area with activities, a game room... As my 6-year-old said, this hotel is her dream.

I wish there were more options at the restaurant.

Fantastic location in Snowmass Base Village, easy walk to the gondola and lots of shops/restaurants. The hotel opened in 2018 so everything is fairly new. The lobby area is nice and inviting with big couches, fireplaces and live music in the evenings. I thought the Limelight lobby was much more inviting than the nearby Viceroy.

For such an expensive hotel the service was lackluster. When we arrived on the airport shuttle no one offered to help us with our bags even though we had multiple suitcases and a ski bag. The breakfast buffet each morning was good but not on the same level as other hotels charging $1000+/night - basically your typical eggs, bacon, oatmeal, muffins and coffee/juice

The main floor was a nice welcoming space to spend time. Games: shuffle board table, Xbox, pac man so fun! Out door patio fire pits with lots of seating. Customer service was the best! Love the room design, we had a dog friendly room with a balcony on the bottom level which made it somewhat easy to walk them. The food is very good too and Lavaza coffee, thank you, in the rooms!

I could only enter through one door at the end of the building to return with my dogs. The door near me did not have reentry. The parking garage entry and exit are not set up well. Keep space for vehicles exiting the garage while someone is entering.

Beautiful location with a 360 view of the surrounding mountains. The weather in August was amazing for a morning balcony hangout. We out on our robes and enjoyed a cup of coffee while over looking the beauty! The room was very clean with plenty of room for the two of us. It had a little nook with a cute little table, sink and mini fridge that came in handy as well. We will be back!

The broken elevator was an inconvenience but wasn't a deal breaker

Tom with morning breakfast services sets a warm and welcoming atmosphere with his excellent hospitality and friendly attitude. Food was delicious. Tom Rice, the concierge, possesses a wealth of knowledge about the area and can easily recommend enjoyable activities and local restaurants. My wife and I enjoyed meeting him. Fernanda, with the front desk, welcomed us and took the time to walk us around the village and share highlights.

The front desk was so friendly and helpful. When we entered our room, we were so pleased with the size of the room, bath robes and double sink in bath. Breakfast in the morning was delicious with so many options including the freshly baked chocolate croissants! We ate our breakfast outside around the fire pits. We also enjoyed the cappuccino machine which was available all day long.

The mattress is very firm.
