The Gant

We absolutely loved the "condo" aspect of The Gant — having a full suite kitchen, washer/dryer, and two bedrooms was a great experience. The free shuttle service was a godsend and we used that often to get in and out of downtown Aspen. The staff was remarkably friendly and informative, as well as housekeeping being respectful.

Despite booking nearly 6 months in advanced, we were not told our room number or where it was until we checked in the day of. Unfortunately we were on the first floor and our view was blocked by a large tree, not to mention that we'd see lights from vehicles that'd drive up the slope in front of our room at night. We were hoping for one with a better view, especially since we were staying for a full week.

The staff were great, especially the manager Bebe - we had a mechanical issue in our unit and everyone jumped into action to get us taken care of. It's easy to rate a property well when everything goes right, but they proved they can respond when something unforeseen goes wrong, which I think speaks much higher to their focus on guest satisfaction. It was our second year here and it will be where we come every year now.

The Gant is well located for Aspen facilities and entertainment. A free shuttle bus was available throughout the day and evening, and for the airport pickup. The apartment was cosy and well equipped, with a full kitchen and firewood for the open fire.

Aspen is a very expensive resort and also it is often difficult to get a reservation at the restaurants.

Location was great, within walking distance of all stores and gondola, but enough away to be quiet and peaceful. Beds were comfy, good housekeeping, multiple pools, hot tubs, tennis courts. Free Gant shuttle to anywhere in town.

Internet was painfully slow and glitchy. Couldn’t even open some pages. We spoke to the front desk 4 times about it and tried every tip they gave us for fixing it to no avail. When all tips and tricks failed to help, nothing more was done to fix it. For a luxury condo, internet should work adequately. Period. Put a damper on the week we were at The Gant as there were things we NEEDED the internet for and had to turn off wifi and rely on our 5g to get things done.

Many things…the staff were excellent and friendly, the condo was in great shape and well-appointed, the prompt transportation was much appreciated, and we really liked the pool/spa areas. My son says, “The transportation was wonderful!”

Essentially nothing…the experience and the accommodations were uniformly excellent.

The room exceeded our expectations, looking like a proper ski chalet with lovely dining and kitchen area and living area with fireplace, onto a terrace with nice garden views. Bedrooms were good size with nice onsuite bathrooms. The condominium had a nice pool hot tub and grill area. The concierge and reception were superb and the shuttle service (though town and gondola were a 5min walk) was efficient, sleek and responsive.

The most beautiful scenery and the most open and large housing I’ve ever stayed in while traveling! This place is amazing, amazing staff, amazing hot tubs, just loved it!

Not much to say here, slightly confusing navigating around the property, but a map was provided and was easy to get used to.

Very nice location and set-up. Views were quite good.

The floors cricked/noise way too much. The tub had broken enamel which was rusting. The wall next to the tube was flaking/pealing. Overall, the suite was nice, but a bit too aged.

Loved the slice of the apartment, very spacious and clean. Check in was easy and the person at the desk was very friendly and accommodating!

There was a lot of construction going on and the trucks parked along the parking lot so it made it very tight to get in and out.
