I very rarely rate or review a property or experience, as it seems reasonable that every person and business should be generally expected to do their best; if not, market forces, though sometimes slow, are usually certain. However, occasionally a person and/or experience is worthy of special note—such is the case here. A warm and genuine notice from our “host” prior to our arrival, a personable and gentle greeting, an efficient and pleasant check-in, and an immediate and upgraded resolution to a minor maintenance issue without our request, all conspired to set our experience apart and above the rest of our travels. Our “host” ensured our comfort, gladly provided an armful of firewood and kindling, and gave the consistent appearance of serving us as though it was his greatest joy and not his work. I would not only stay here again, but would willingly drive out of my way to include this property and the “host” on our itinerary as a destination. To all of that, add the glorious setting, and our stay at the 4 Seasons Inn, Estes Park, topped our month-long journey.
Not a thing.

The Inn is located between to bigger lodges that are also available, room was spacious and clean. The room had an electric fireplace that gave off really nice warm air, table and chairs coffee pot and microwave and fridge were in well condition. Right off a really nice walking trail that will lead you into town.
Parking lot was very small and on the week ends it could cause some logistic issues with bigger trucks. Separated bathroom facility was different but usable. This facility is decorated in a cabin like fashion but not real modern.

We loved the location - super close to the shops and restaurants. We liked the private hot tub and having a fireplace in our room. The little book in the room with info about things to do and places to go was great. The view of the river was peaceful, and the facility was quiet. It's a good place to spend a short trip in Estes Park.
The bed was not very comfortable, and the outdoor lighting did not work. The room also smelled quite like soot, likely from the fireplace.

We loved the location, right by the river, and having a private hot tub was really amazing, we utilized that almost every night we were there. We ended up getting to our room the first night after closing hours, but it was easy to grab our key, and I met the owner the next morning and he was extremely nice and made us feel right at home.
I wish I would have known there wasn't an AC unit. The room had a small fan that we were able to use, and we could open the window. Thankfully we were in the mountains so it was cool at night. It wasn't a major deal breaker as we brought our own fan as well (I tend to get very hot at night).

The grounds was beautiful and natural. Close to Rocky Mtn National Park. Room was spacious and comfortable. Large shower with lovely soaps shampoos and conditioners. Plenty of towels.. Bed was comfortable with comfy pillows. Coffee maker with lots of coffee and creamers, hot chocolate too. Good hot tub and fire pits at the creek with firewood available. Host was great! Very personable and knowledgeable about the Park, events and restaurants

The room was spacious, well decorated, and comfortable. Although the property is small, there are ample places to sit and hangout beside the river. There are also grills in several places so you can cook dinner there if you want to stay in for the evening.
We would have liked to have been able to turn off the light outside our door. I know it's there for safety purposes, but it was bright enough to be distracting when trying to sleep. Not a major problem, just a little annoying.

The owner is very friendly and greeted and welcomed us well. There's always some homemade chocolate chip cookies available for us to grab at the office. The room had everything we needed: fridge, microwave, shower, sink, table, fan, bath and beach towels, mugs, and personalized welcome guide-binder showing recommended local attractions and restaurants. There is also community jacuzzi (that we never had the opportunity to try) and chairs/seats by the river where you can just relax and enjoy the nature (with some native outdoor creatures to accompany). We loved the location as it is a bit outside of the town so it is more private, and it is also quite close to the Rocky Mountain National Park Fall River Entrance.
A bit old and rustic, and the bedding smelled a bit musky so hopefully that could be improved. The noise from upstairs neighbors walking on top had been annoying us especially during the late night / early morning. There is a swing bench out by the parking lot but there are tall bushes right below it so the swing is totally unusable. Perhaps a screen door could be added so the bugs won't come in to the room when we were entering / exiting the room. We've got some unwanted bugs in our room during our stay.

Location was excellent! Host was friendly and helpful.
No A/C or window to open for fresh air, volume on TV was locked so low couldn't hear it. We could hear the TV and people above us and them walking so loudly woke us up in the middle of each night. Empty bath soap, needed vacuumed closer to baseboards and baseboards needed cleaned!!!!! Website said host on-site to checking till 6pm, but was 5pm!

The owner was great! He gave us a lot of wonderful suggestions on things to do and places to see while we were there. The location was beautiful! We got to see a bit of the wildlife down by the river right in front of the property which was pretty exciting! It is also in such a great location. The room was very clean, and the bed was sooo comfortable!
The ONLY downside, which was something I’m not even sure could be fixed, is that the floors squeak quite a bit. The room above us was up at 4:00 every morning and we could hear every move they made :( Easy fix though, just get a room upstairs!

I can't recommend staying here enough, especially if you plan on visiting Rocky Mountain National Park. The Inn has the most home-like feel with an extremely cozy vibe. There is a hot tub available to everyone (there's only 10 rooms at the Inn so don't expect a ton go people). It's also extremely close to the main shopping area of Estes Park. The grounds are also peaceful with a small creek that runs at the front of the property. You might even see a wild animal or two! The staff is also exceptional and super attentive. Mark and company where the nicest people anyone can ask for. He even bakes cookies for all the guests! Our room was large and spacious and our bathroom was even better. The shower was enormous with hot water for days. The included toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash) were also amazing.
The only negative thing I may mention is that there is no A/C in the rooms. Wasn't much of an issue since my wife and I went during late spring so it never got extremely hot but not sure how it would be for anyone traveling in the summer.
