Nicky's Resort

Location was great.Loved the creek.Staff was nice.

I think the name should be changed from Resort.To Nicky's Creekside Hotel or Motel.Becsuse I have traveled and the name is misleading.Because it is not a Resort.The location Great.The Motel was fine.But no Resort standard. Photos online look better than actually are.

Amazing! The hotel is located right along Fall River. The river flows through the property and it’s quite beautiful to see and very peaceful to hear. You’re far enough away from town and the hustle and bustle but still close enough to be downtown in a few minutes. The best part? You’re located a few miles (5 minutes) from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park! And it’s the less busy entrance! Easy access to the park and down the road from the historic Stanley hotel. Room was very clean and had a cozy feel. Also, the restaurant located on the property called the Wapiti Pub was EXCELLENT!

This lodging has "Dirty Dancing" vibes which was cool. The room was spacious and comfortable, decorated in mountain cabin decor. The bed was a bit softer than we were used to but we slept like logs while we were there. We enjoyed dinner one night at The Wapiti which is practically on the premises so no driving that night.

The vertical blinds on the sliding door were not completely opaque so the room would get light early in the morning. Reading lights were not very bright.

We were only there 24 hours, prior to flying home to the UK. What a lovely setting up in the foothills of the Rockies! The room was perfect, the bed massive and the facilities great! A short walk from our room took us across the bridge over rushing waters and on to the Restaurant and Bar - idyllic!! All complemented by very helpful and friendly staff!! Just one note of cation- if you want to use Nicky's as a base for exploring the Rockies, do make sure you book your Park Entrance in advance. We learned the hard way!!

What a beautiful property! Convenient location, has the river running through it, large rooms with everything that you need, very comfortable bed (we had the best sleep!), hot shower, really friendly staff and spotlessly clean. We extended our stay for an extra night as we loved it so much. The restaurant isn’t currently open but they provided a list of recommendations for food which was really helpful

The rooms themselves are really neat and we instantly felt comfortable, much better than your average motel. It's 3 min to the entrance of Rocky Mountains, so the location is top.

There was no room service after our first day, so we had to fetch fresh towels and coffee bags ourselves. Also, it's unfortunate that the pool was not open (in June) - We were looking forward to it.

Resort is nearby dowtown and easy to go to the restaurants. The people were great. They are friendly and nice. The room was clean. Bed was very comfortable. I went here in the winter in the winter so the river inside the rosort was freezing. If you have a chance to come here in the summer it would be really beautiful.

Arrived after dark, but could see the resort has a stream running through it. Parking for the first set of rooms is a little tight but manageable. The steak house was still open but we had other plans for dinner in town. Would go back just to try the steakhouse however. Our room was very nicely decorated and the gas furnace did a great job of keeping the room toasty. It seemed weird to have a ground level room with a sliding glass door, but it had very dark tinting and seemed secure. Great water pressure for the shower and sink, and the bathroom quite small.

I'm guessing this is an older resort by the wooden upper walkways and stairs, so that sort of amplifies the noise as people walk back and forth above you.

The room felt very spacious and location was excellent as easy to find all one needed in the nearby town and super close to the National Park.

I would have loved the basin to have been within the bathroom. And the request by management to strip the bedding from the bed and to deal with the trash seemed odd for a venue of this calibre.

Nice little cozy room with a roku TV that had lots of options, great location, helpful and accommodating staff

Didn't even cross our mind that the pool would be closed because its still too cold in June, but wouldn't have had much time to use it anyway. Shower was like a powerwasher it had such strong pressure
