The Ridgeline Hotel, Estes Park, Ascend Hotel Collection

The location was perfect, close to downtown and rocky mountain national Park. Loved the fire pit and the fact that they give you a snore kit for the kids (comes with 4 marshmallows, a Hershey bar and 4 graham crackers). The restaurant on site was pretty good.

The room was pretty small. Also, having our room open up/Being next to the pool was a negative. There was a very strong chlorine smell and humidity spilled into our room because our door "balcony" opened up pool, which also meant we had no natural light or outside view making the room very dark and felt a little depressing at times.

Location was great. Plenty of parking. Checkin was easy. Beautiful renovations. Lovely decor. Clean rooms. Amazing dinner at restaurant. Loved the two texts I received at checkin and then prior to checkout. Nice personal touch.

The only complaint was that we were unable to use the hot tub due to the amount of kids in the area. While I know it may not be an issue to fix, it might be nice to have an adults only or later times that would allow adults to enjoy the amenities as well. We packed suits and we’re hoping to wind down after the day and unable. Just something to consider.

The location, less then 5 minutes from downtown Estes, the price, our rooms were comfortable, we liked you could sit on the balcony over looking the pool. The sparkling water machine in the lobby was great. Everyone was super friendly

Only issues were the breakfast buffet being out of a lot of stuff when we went down hardly any biscuits some gravy, yogurts, and bread. but granted it was 9:00am I guess you stop serving at 9:30? Just wish it served breakfast longer. And kids screaming in the pool till 11:00 but I understand the pool is open till 11 so.

The hotel was wonderful. Outdoor firepits made the evenings memorable and comfortable and fun. Pool and rec room were fantastic for evening activities. Coffee and water on hand in lobby was very convenient. Staff was very helpful. We did not eat in the restaurant but will be back to try it soon.

We only had 3 hangars in the rooms. Maybe a few more hangars for those traveling would be nice. Trash bins in first doors are necessity because of bears and animals we understand, but perhaps if they were emptied mid day and evening the entrances that had the indoor trash bins would smell a little better.

The rooms were very spacious and bed was very comfortable! The fire pits outside were very nice after a long day of exploring. The pool, though not really warm, had a large projector that was showing kid movies. Very large pool. Lots of towels available and very clean!

There was no breakfast served at the hotel. Every other hotel has found a way to be Covid safe but still provide some food for their guests. There is only 1 elevator fir 4 floors of rooms and you have to bring your luggage up a ramp or stairs to get to them.

The pool was nice and I loved all the extra TV channels. Rarely do I get to watch Chinese News

The complimentary breakfast was terrible. Tacos were served and their was a hair in thr Sour Cream. The boiled eggs tasted weird and the Osameal was a sludge like consistency. If needed I can show staff how to cook a delicious and affordable continental breakfast

Excellent location. Accessible to park and town. This hotel had everything we needed for a simple trip to Estes. Restaurant in the hotel was excellent. Coffee and tea 24/7 in the lobby and water bottle filling stations. Hotel room was generous and very clean. We didn’t have time for the pool but it looked great. Smores and fire pits at night with room for everyone! Parking was easy. Excellent hotel.

The restaurant wasn’t open for breakfast but they provided area guides for breakfast and other amenities.

staff was friendly and informative. property is well maintained. fire pits are a nice area to relax by as the sun goes down. the pool and hot tub are a nice place to get refreshed. I have been staying at this property for 30 plus years. I’ve seen the ups and downs of the property.

The WI-FI was slow. Good thing I was there to relax and not for business. I would have had to go hang out at Starbucks or McDonald’s for Wi-Fi. Restaurant service was slow as always.

This place was awesome! Big pool and a hot tub, with a big movie screen in the pool area. Game room had FREE pinball, shuffleboard, pool and ping pong. Restaurant and bar on site, ordered drinks from the bar but unfortunately didn't eat there. Super close to downtown Estes, and they even had free bikes you could rent. This hotel was awesome, clean too.

Beds were a little hard, but that's a minor thing!

Good location, friendly staff.. the Starbucks coffee and tea station in lobby was a nice feature - and s’mores around the fire pits in courtyard was fun.

Room was much smaller than expected - no usable table or desk (the tv was set up on it). Room furnishings and bath fixtures seemed dated. bathroom is tiny.
