Comfort Suites Golden West on Evergreen Parkway

All of the staff at this hotel were extremely nice. Buck the dog will greet you. He is the hotel dog! The breakfast was delicious. Lots of choices! The pumpkin spice waffles were so good! Great location! Evergreen is an adorable town! We were there for a wedding at the Evergreen Lake House. It was only 10 minutes away.The hotel is quiet and very clean. The day we stayed, it snowed 3 inches! We went to the outdoor hot tub and it was a great experience!

The indoor hot tub was out of order. The pool was cold. We did not mind, but daily cleaning of your room is not available. They only cleaning is on your departure.

The rooms were very spacious, and the hotel was quite nice.

The price for the room was quite high, and paying that price I would expect the amenities to be in order. The indoor hot tub and outdoor one were luke warm temperature, almost like bath water. Not as pleasant nor relaxing as I had hoped. It needs to be looked into.

I liked the location and the size of the room. It was a good area for the places we had to visit. The hotel was clean. The staff was good, but sometimes we had to wait a little while for a person to come to the front desk.

Was not impressed by the free breakfast. Me and my daughter actually ate breakfast out every morning since the breakfast was not what we expected. We are used to having hot cooked eggs, potatoes, bacon, waffles at some other hotels were they offer free breakfast. I believe that was my only complaint. Otherwise it was a great place to stay. I would stay again, but bring my own food for breakfast or go out to eat.

The room was excellent! It was clean and both the beds and pillows were comfy. I loved that it has both a pool and hot tub, plus an extra outdoor hot tub! And the view from our room was amazing! The breakfast was plenty enough; and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We already plan to stay here again on our next trip to Colorado!

The only thing I would ask for, is for some kind of eggs to be provided at breakfast; otherwise there was nothing I didn't like about staying at this hotel.

There was someone staying right above us who was stomping for literally hours, from 8pm to 12-1am. But I just called reception and I didn’t hear anything from upstairs until the morning cause I’m guessing they were upset I called. But the gentleman at the front was super helpful and nice, gave me a call back to tell me just to call again if it happens.

Really easy check in, the whole place was very clean and comfortable! The room was spacious and the beds were SOOOO comfortable (once I got up onto mine hahaha). Person at the front desk was really nice. We didn't swim but the pool, sauna, and hot tub all looked very clean and well maintained/safe. I noticed there was handicapped access to the pool also.

I am short, overweght, and 60 yrs old. It was VERY difficult to get in and out of the bed because of how how high off the floor it was!! I really would have appreciated a small step stool lol. No info in the room about local food choices, the hotel, the area etc...

Everything! The location is perfect for whatever you have planned. You are literally in the mountains, which is what we were looking for. 40 min to downtown, 45 min to the airport, 15 min to huge mall, 15 min to Blackhawk-Casino Town, 2 min to Starbucks/Gas Station/McDonalds, 2 min to the Interstate, and zero min to beautiful drives and scenery. The Staff were so friendly and accommodating, the hotel was clean, the breakfast options because of covid were cold items with the exception of a breakfast sandwich or burrito to microwave-which was great. The room was spacious, had 2 areas that could be closed off with the slide of the door so if someone wanted to go to bed and someone else wanted to stay up, they wouldn't bother each other. The bed was so soft and the sheets were amazing. The bathroom was clean and the decor was updated and the balcony was a great size and smells like cedar! Parking was easy and access to the doors was just fine. The elevator was great as we stayed on the top (3rd) floor.

There really wasn't anything that changes our review of 5/5. If we had to be really picky I would say the noise from the interstate was a little loud-but that wouldn't deter us from coming back or referring friends to stay there. The door to the balcony was a tad weathered/warped so you had to yank on it to open and close, again not anything to change our view and you are out in the elements-just wanted to lay it all out there.

It was pretty expensive compared to similar rooms we’ve had before. Also, they actually called & interrupted a game I was attending to discuss a complaint about a bad odor coming from the room. Turns out they had the wrong room. Annoying but mistakes happen. Then the next day the same employee called again while I was out & this time left a somewhat nasty message about the same issue. Again, wrong room. It was upsetting to have to deal with this TWICE while we were out to enjoy our time in the area.

The breakfast was fine but the comfort of the bed was very good. It was a bit challenging to find as it was tucked away up a hill behind some trees but that added to the peacefulness of the experience.

The location was a bit difficult to locate but after calling the desk attendant we found it with the help of her instructions.

The room was pet friendly but had an overwhelming smell of many pets. Also the noise level with people outside and upstairs from us was a little overwhelming at times
