Candlewood Suites Grand Junction, an IHG Hotel

everything was great we loved the hotel the room was real nice everything was clean just perfect the help was very nice also, we enjoyed our stay was not long but nice, we will stay there again when we come up again ,

we liked everything there was nothing we did not like, the water was even hot when we wanted to take a shower early in morning , most hotels we been too had just warm water that early in morning so it was great to have a shower with hot water . like i said we would come back to this hotel any time when we come up here but wont be till next year . was the nicest hotel we stayed in for a while, we be back next year for a few days ,

The room was larger and far more comfortable than I was expecting. The kitchen was a very good size with ample seating and fairly well supplied. It was a great-sized room for a small traveling family.

No complaints. Ample parking. Lots of food choice nearby. What's not to like?

Property was in excellent condition, very clean and very well put together, pleasing to the eye and makes it look like a semi fancy hotel for a fraction of the cost. compared to other hotels around this area you can’t beat the price, staff was great and basically invisible unless I had a question or needed them for anything, then they were readily available. Also a major major plus (in my opinion anyway) is not only do they have a guest laundry, but that it is self service, free of charge and open 24/7. As it’s a pretty big hotel I would maybe just throw it out there to possibly get a few more units and make the current laundry room bigger and fill it with a few more washers and dryers, but even with that being said the 2 washers and 4 dryers seem to do okay with how the hotel is but it is also off season and not many travers and tourists to fill the entire hotel but in the spring and summer seasons I imagine it gets pretentious attempting to get a turn and find an empty washer especially if you don’t have the entirety of your day to stand there in basically in line so that you’re there in the right time but like I said right now it’s not bad, I’ve done 2 or 3 loads and I had to wait less than 10 minutes each time for a washer to be empty, the fact that it’s free is a major plus for me and actually ended up being a deciding factor for me when I had to unexpectedly extend my stay because I was gonna go look for a little bit of a cheaper place since I was needing an extra 9 days but honestly I couldn’t find anything close to being as nice,as comfortable or as amenity filled couples with convenience as this place was.

I enjoyed everything about the property there is nothing that I didn’t like about it.

some things not cleaned like top of fridge and not enough silverware plates and cups, should have at least 4 settings if not 6 so you don’t have to run dishwasher daily OR give some dawn dish soap and sponge to hand wash

TV remote guide wasn't programmed, a paper guide would be good.

they are in the middle of construction but this is still the second best place next to home. super friendly staff who actually know your name.

well it is a construction entity at the moment but they are making it better?

It has everything like pots and pans, cookware stove, microwave refrigerator, but I really don’t need those things. It’s just a quick stop while on a road trip

Property was under construction during my stay so I didn’t have access to all the amenities but overall my stay was very comfortable

Friendly staff and location. I felt safe and the cleanliness was extremely important to me. I also loved the improvements that were made.

I can’t think of anything that could be improved upon.

Clean and quiet, room was cozy with a comfortable bed. Staff was friendly and helpful. They have a nice little workout room and a shop for snacks/drinks. I love that they allow pets. I would definitely stay here again!

A lot of dog poop in the yard area, but that's more on the people who don't pick up after their pets than the hotel I suppose.
