Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Gunnison

The staff was very friendly, helpful, communicative, thorough, and hospitable. Answered all my questions about the property and billing promptly. Their breakfast when available was good and the decor was cozy, comfy, and fuul of plants which I loved! The room was perfectly sized as was the furniture. I had no complaints and all of my needs were met. They were flexible with a slightly late check out which made my trip smooth and enjoyable!

The breakfast was good. I liked having the choices of a few hot items, eggs, sausage, toast and lots of coffee with fresh milk. The location was very good, right off the main road but easy to walk to the store.

The prices in Gunnison have gotten pretty high which was a little disappointing. It felt like I was paying too much for a basic hotel but it was clean and the staff was nice.

Breakfast was great. Location was great. Aesthetics were warm and inviting. Beds were comfortable.

It was a walk up so people banged their suitcases up and down the stairs without consideration to those sleeping. Housekeeping was inconsistent and not thorough. Motorcycle parking right in front of our window made it difficult to sleep in. Hotel was a non smoking one yet people smoked and kept their door open so we would have to pass through the smoke to our room.

Husband and I booked last-minute (like, sitting in the parking lot). We were camping and had already had one rough night, and with the rain pouring down we decided to stay here instead of trying to camp closer to Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. It took a while for the reservation to process, but the clerk was extremely helpful in getting us into our room anyway. The room smelled and looked very clean, and there was a small continental breakfast the next morning. Not the most updated bathroom/shower, but to me, cleanliness is the most important and that was totally up to standard.

This is an older property, but it’s fairly well maintained. The staff was great, the rooms were clean, everything worked, the breakfast was great for this type, the beds were comfortable and we had a fantastic stay for my niece’s graduation at WCU.

Breakfast was as expected. Coffee was hot and available when I wanted it. Food stuff was a variety of pastries, cereals and fast food. Very good for my needs. Rooms were located as I required due to a family member with disability. Overall the hotel met our needs.

Rooms could have carpets replaced to eliminate old odors

Didn't really have to deal with staff since Check in was done on the kiosk electronically... interesting system. Not sure how I feel about that. it's kind of nice to talk in person with someone rather than through a machine.

The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The rooms were a bit “dated” but they were very clean and the beds were very comfortable.

If anything, it just needs to be updated.

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The location was convenient.

The property is right on US 50, which is quite noisy at times. Using the heating unit with constant fan helped. The breakfast offerings were fair.
