The Gunnison Inn at Dos Rios Golf Course

The setting is beautiful, with lovely gardens and outside sitting areas. Even though the hotel is on HWY 50, the hotel sits back from the road so it is very quiet. It is worth driving the few miles from the main part of Gunnison for the peace and quiet. We have stayed here before when we needed just 1 night. The breakfast is wonderful! Homemade jams, bowl of fresh blueberries, and high end teas are just some of the nice breakfast items. The beds are comfortable and the room was very quiet. We will stay here again when passing through Gunnison.

Very affordable (especially since it's much pricier to stay in Crested Butte if you're skiing), pretty nice inside, seems newly renovated, upper rooms have patios. Includes a basic breakfast. Water gets hot quickly and stays hot.

Breakfast is pretty light, no hot bar, but decent options available (coffee, juice, yogurt, oatmeal, muffins, waffles, fruit...). You have to walk outside to get to the separate office building where the breakfast area is, and it can be very very cold in winter. You can only get one key, and it's a regular kind of key. Tv is a bit small. Overall these aren't really anything bad, more just some things I noticed.

Nice & quiet. Room was clean & had lots of room, not cramped. Breakfast was great - a nice variety of foods to choose from. Quick & easy check in & no hassle-no contact check out - just leave the key at the front desk.

I did not necessary like that the room had 2 doors. One the opened to the outside & the other one that opened into a hallway. Turned out to not be a problem. Our room's outside furniture consisted of a bench outside beside the door. Was not able to park car close to our door at first - someone left the spot in front of our door so we were able to move our vehicle to just outside our door.

Breakfast is included. The staff were fantastic - friendly and helpful. The accommodations were spotlessly and hygienically clean. Although on one of the main roads in the Gunnison area it was quiet during the night. The other guests were quiet also. Additionally there were human-friendly cats who live on the property & they added to the charm of the hotel.

It's a bit close to the airport & so there's occasional jet engine noise and airplanes overhead. However, not that many flights come in or out.

Absolutely loved this place -- we had a king suite that was spacious, clean and comfortable...well beyond what I expected. The owners are lovely and helpful. Breakfast was a cut above the usual fare. The location is not only close to Gunnison but the setting on the golf course, with huge hanging baskets of flowers, tranquil water features, and towering cottonwoods, is beautiful in and of itself. The inn is pet friendly for a small fee for which I was grateful because I travel with 2 small dogs. Although pet friendly, the grounds are immaculate. I would return here in a heartbeat--highly, highly recommend!

The breakfast was outstanding with homemade jams and waffle bar. Loved the yogurt with granola and fruit and enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. I liked the grounds with the beautiful flowers and sitting nooks.

Need new pillows in rooms. Last time had coffee pot in room would like one back in room or one to borrow even though they had coffee in breakfast room.

this property is set back from the highway, beside the golf course. quiet, and lots of space to explore. only 5 minutes to the heart of gunnison. the rooms are very spacious, and a very nice breakfast area to hang out in. would definitely stay here again

Very nice, remolded rooms. Nice shampoo, soaps ect in the bathroom. The beds were vary comfortable. It was not important for us to be walking distance from town, so this place was perfect. We would like to come back in the summer, with our bikes, and bile around the area, and stay here. The breakfast in the morning was all we needed.

The property was so cute and pretty! Loved it. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The showers/tubs were deep and big. Every room had outdoor balconies that were so cute. The TV was great. Had a fridge and microwave. Picnic tables and lots of space for kids to run around. Very close to town. We would stay here again above all other choices in Gunnison.

The beds were hard. I cant tell if we got the new ones or old ones. Breakfast was extremely simple, but serviceable, with hard boiled eggs, yogurt, bananas, lots of breads - muffins/bagels/waffles etc. Tea & coffee & hot chocolate. No elevators, which was fine for us, but maybe not for others. The toilet paper holder was strangely so far away from the toilet. No pool was a bummer.

Second time we have stayed here. First time was last fall. Both times the facility was clean and the staff friendly. The breakfast was a great bonus as it was better than most hotel breakfast I have had. Would highly recommend staying here as the nightly rate is good and the hotel is great!!
