Large 1-bedroom with kitchen area. Comfortable and well equipped

I don't like this new trend of not having rooms serviced unless you ask (and sometimes, even if you ask you can get missed due to imperfect communication between the front desk and housekeeping). One of the problems is that guests leave trash in the hallways or by the elevators that isn't picked up until the next day. I know that this trend save money for the owners but we didn't see a price reduction to match, only the reduced service.

I used Trivago then booking.com to reserve 2 rooms. When we got there about 11:45 pm they had our reservation but only 1 room. The hotel attendant was wonderful and found us a pet friendly hotel nearby. This was my first and last time using Trivago but would stay at the hotel in the future.

Friendliness of staff and location

Bathroom door didn’t lock or close completely. People above us were noisy stomping and banging keeping us up.and when we put our trash outside door to be collected,we didn’t receive any new ones to put in the cans .

Located in the downtown area near various shops and eateries. The staff were polite, unit very comfortable and inviting and the facility was clean and vibrant. It would have been nice to have an indoor hot tub and a larger breakfast area.

Facility consider other breakfast meat options for guest that do not eat pork or beef. Good thing there were a lot of eateries around where we could go and purchase breakfast.

Hilton lived up to its brand.

When I checked in , at first the receptionist couldn’t find my reservation, and ask me to call Booking to verify, when I told her this is the first time this has happened after I got confirmation and I was ready to walk out, she decided to look again and this time, she found my name. This is a situation where an inept member of the staff drew her conclusion before investigating.

Unlike most hotels, this hotel had a larger refrigerator with a freezer, as opposed to the usual box fridge with a tiny spot at the top as the freezer. It had cabinet and shelf space in the kitchen for storage, dishes and a dishwasher. It was also nice that there was a curtain between the king bed and the couch. That way if someone is sleeping on the pullout couch bed, you can close off the space for privacy.

This is the second time I stayed at this location and both times I was very pleased. The room was very clean and staff has always been very nice and helpful.

Honestly, I can't think of anything I didn't like.

Maintenance didn’t resolve the bathroom clogged sink issue during my stay which was inconvenient

The staff was incredible; Friendly, helpful and always positive.

Entire toilet was loose and never fixed though I notified them the first day, The A/C could not keep pace with the humidity, so the room always felt sticky.
