Quality Inn & Suites Harrington

We have stayed here many times, and it was great as always, except that the front desk had some confusion about our reservation. It seemed that they were upset about not finding the confirmation right away from booking.com and wanted us to clear it up rather than helping with that. It was figured out, but they could do a little better about helping guests with their reservation when there are questions.

The staff was excellent and friendly. I believe this staff member I dealt with name was Rita. I could be wrong on her name, but I checked in at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. When I went to my room, the room did not meet my expectations it wasn't cleaned properly by the housekeeper. I went back to the front desk and made her aware, and she immediately put me in another room, and that room was very clean. Great beds, they were very comfortable. I had a great stay there.

it serves its purpose. I needed a room while traveling through the area. it is one minute from Harrington Raceway and Casino. I went there for dinner and enjoyed my meal. they have four Dining options. the hotel serves a good breakfast with round premafe eggs- sausage- fruit- waffles- cereal etc.

Initially I asked for a room on the first floor (I added that room photo- chipping paint- shredded drapes”) that room was subpar and smelled. They asked me would I take a room on the second floor- that was much better. more of a 3 star ⭐️ accommodation- the other room was a 2 ⭐️. Other that there was nothing to dislike.

The second room was great and so was the free breakfast with good with choices.

The first room was awful. It was dirty the window was open and the screen was ripped so we had flies in our room. The were dirty, the rug was wet and so were the pillows. We are guessing from wi dow open and ac on high. The person at the front desk said she get somebody into do something with the Flies after half an hour we went back to see what they're going to do. We finally got a manager and she was great and changed our room.

how close it was from the Harrington Fair which held my prom. The pool was warm and the rooms had good working private facilities. Very nice and cooperative staff. Had good few options for breakfast which was included. very quick and easy to sign in and out

though I turned on the heater, it didn’t spread too well so I was still cold tho I slept in the bed next to it. The pool really smelled of chlorine so I felt scared to fully swim with my face in it but it was warm so it was good to be in. The towels had stains on them and I would’ve liked a bigger lotion to use and maybe a small toothpaste would be nice

Other than the sofa bed, everything was very clean. The staff was very friendly.

My kids slept in the sofa bed. I dont expect much from the sofa bed in terms of comfort, but when we opened it, there were discarded water bottles and snack wrappers.

The staff was very friendly and out going to take care of our needs during the trip. there was a multi block power outage the morning of our check out, and some guests were down right nasty to the manager who was working to fix the issue at 5 AM, right when it happened. He still took the time to express his personal gratitude for our understanding of a situation that was beyond his control. Additionally, the location was directly across from the Harrington casino if that is your destination like ours. The pool was warm, clean and enjoyable.

Of the possible negatives here's what we found: 1. Close proximity to a rail yard, but could barely hear the train horns from the room, even one facing the tracks. 2. Doors opened to the interior, so no smoking right outside your room. 3. The plumbing fixtures are Abit old and discolored, due to bleach being used on the stainless steel. Yet that is an indicator of how clean it was. They just need to be replaced for purely esthetic reasons. 4. This is not on the hotel but other guests, there was an overpowering smell of marijuana in the hallway from one of the rooms. 5. The hot tub was down for maintenance.

The room and the hotel were just fine, and I enjoyed watching the trains across the street.

At this point (2022), hotel management's top priorities need to include ensuring that WiFi is both operational and VERY strong for all the rooms. I am quite capable of traveling without Wifi, but why should I? Make sure every room has a strong signal 24/7. Frankly, with numerous restaurants nearby, this is way more important than breakfast.

The location was perfect front desk when checked in was very friendly an helpful, I will book again, the room was very equipped the necessary items we needed. We left a pair of glasses there an the clean up person was honest enough to turn them in, front desk clerk took the time to notify us that we had left the glasses an where we could pick them up. So appreciative they took the extra steps.

I didn't find the breakfast that they were talking about but that was ok. When we first arrived Probation Officers in full gear was posted in the front. That was an alarming feeling!!

Inexpensive hotel. Very nice, quiet, indoor pool.

This location is kind of in the middle of nowhere. It's about an hour from the beach, and a very reasonable price. The only thing around is a casino apparently. If you were going there, this would be the place to stay.
