We chose the hotel on a whim after learning that our son's weekend baseball tournament had been moved to the University of Delaware, and he had to be at the field at 7am. We're accustomed to staying in a hotel for baseball weekends, and usually have to rush around in the morning when we're barely awake to pack up and check out while making sure we get him to the field on time. It was luxurious knowing we didn't have to be out of the room until noon - and with the field less than 10 minutes away, we were able to watch the game and return to the room for a change of clothes before checking out! Unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy the breakfast buffet (we chose a few more minutes of sleep and granola bars in the car), but it looked delicious. As far as the room itself, I joked that I wanted to bring the bed home with me! Wonderful firm (but not too firm) mattress - couldn't even feel my husband's movements on the other side - and soft, cottony sheets. Bottomless supply of hot water, good water pressure, nicely scented body wash, shampoo, and conditioner (it was nice knowing that we didn't have to lug all this with us when we were just staying one night), and plenty of fluffy, bright white towels. The room was creatively laid out with a desk area separating the beds from the "living room" end of the suite, and there was a microwave, coffeemaker, and a true mini fridge (not one of those ones that you have to repeatedly turn on every few hours like they have in some hotels). Also loved that the drapes were truly room darkening and fully spanned the width of the window. We usually request a room on a high floor and away from the elevators to minimize noise, but I forgot this time. We ended up on the second floor but were near the end of the hall. I was vaguely aware of a few people coming down the hallway to their rooms near us, but it was extremely quiet after they closed their doors.

I had read in other reviews that people did not like the bathroom door, but I couldn't envision what the issue was (I wish I had snapped a picture). The bathroom is long and narrow (spacious!), almost the full depth of the room. The door is a sliding barn door just opposite the foot of the first bed, and it has a large panel of frosted aqua-colored glass. Aesthetically, it's really chic, and it does provide full privacy. On the downside, the light from the bathroom does glow through the glass panel. It didn't prove to be an issue for us, but I guess it could be annoying for light sleepers if someone were to use the bathroom in the middle of the night.

Breakfast was great. My husband and I appreciated the healthy add-ins for the oatmeal. My oldest daughter enjoyed making a bagel sandwich, and my younger daughter loved the waffles with blueberry compote. Everything was delicious and the area was very clean. The free water bottles in the lobby were a nice touch. The beds were comfortable.

Housekeeping didn't show up after our first night and we had to go ask for clean towels. It would have been nice if the refrigerator included a freezer section.

The free breakfast was actually really nice! So many options and the food was actually really yummy. Last hotel I went to was like bananas and watery eggs and hard toast. But this hotel had so many options, all fresh, quiche, yogurt, sausage sandwiches on bagels, cereal, etc. I also really liked how the shower came stocked with full size body wash and shampoo and conditioner (mounted to wall so no freebies Hahahha) but so roomy and nice and had free water bottles on the counter in lobby and a nice bar in lobby.

The pool was closed due to needing maintenance and my room didn’t have a sink in the “living room part” only the bathroom part. The tap water tasted like chlorine.

I like how friendly everyone were. Everyone were very helpful and extremely understanding. Traveling with two kids alone isn’t always easy but staff helped out a lot.

Just two things were a little disappointing. 1. The pool being closed. The indoor pool was one of the reasons why I picked this hotel. I wanted to give my girls something to do without having to leave the hotel. My second reason would be the lighting in the suite. The desk and coffee/fridge area light wouldn’t turn off. It was to bright when trying to get some rest.

The room was was very nice and comfortable the best sleep I have had in years! Also very clean and nicely decorated. The staff was super friendly and accommodating would definitely come back.

It was a let down that the pool was closed also I don't eat pork and there was no turkey based meat on the breakfast menu.

Room was very spacious and clean!

The TV doesn't have much of a swivel to it despite being wall mounted. The bathroom also has a huge glass sliding door that couldn't lock. Down side to the door having glass is during the night if one of us needed to use the restroom anyone that was sleeping on the beds would have the light coming from the bathroom shining in their eyes.

We usually book rooms with 2 queen beds, but they did not have any free rooms with two beds, so we decided to take a room with one king size bed. The room was very spacious - with a table where kids could play play dough, and a couch and a big bed that fit all four of us :) Breakfast was very nice too. I had a very nice granola with nuts and dried fruit. And our son made a waffle :)

Breakfast was alright all things considered with the pandemic and all. Could have offered some more stuff.

Simple thing like maybe an ice machine there were none in the hotel but the bar did offer that until 11pm when it closed, but feel they should have something for guests when bar is closed as well.

The hotel was a lot more updated than I expected and than what I saw in pictures. It was comfortable, clean, and modern. Breakfast had decent options as well (muffins, cereal, fruit, etc.). The staff were kind, respectful, and helpful. The lobby area was clean and big. The halls were quiet. The area was safe for our car and so was our room. I was thankful that we stayed here.

When we arrived, we learned that their pool was out of order because there wasn't anyone to maintain it. =(
