Breakfast was always great Staff was very friendly & accommodating

The pool heater was not functioning The ice machine outside our room was very noisy

The rooms are being updated and are very bright and clean. The location is awesome, being waterside, and local restaurants like crackers are great options

First of all, the lady at the front desk was exceptionally friendly and well-versed in the location and the local happenings. She explained the parking situation, things to do, etc. Super nice. My kids explored the pool area while I grabbed food from the restaurant next door. The hotel was very near our manatee excursion that we scheduled for day 2. The AC was super cold which is a huge bonus in FL in July. Just a great place to stay, will def stay again.

I already know without even reading the other comments that people probably complain about the "mildew-y" smell in the rooms. This is typical for any hotel near the water in the South that wasn't remodeled yesterday.

It was a good location. The room was very good. No odors. They put in a very good AC- Heat. The staff very friendly and responsive. In the lobby in the afternoon they brewed a fresh pot of copy when entered. When we arrived after midnight the night staff greeted us tired folks with a smile that lit up the night and got us quickly situated in our room.

Our room too far from the pool and activities. Would have paid a little more for a view or closer to activities. The Bathroom floor was a bit dirty. I noticed when I wiped some shower water from the floor with a towel. Understand it’s hard to get enough help. But we were out all day and returned to the room at 3 pm and the room had not been made up. I recommend fruit at the breakfast. Just one banana.

Location is amazing everything right there. We rented a pontoon from Capt Mikes so perfect for that. Breakfast was really good. Fresh enough, hot, great coffee and waffle, ladies were friendly serving us. They need to have a way to be tipped through a QR code or something, we didn’t have cash. Ate at restaurant not sure if associated but staff there was not very friendly at all, except for one lady that seemed to be a good runner. Drinks were well made which is always a treat. Great music. Pool/Jacuzzi was nice and housekeeping staff was AMAZING. So hard working but yet friendly and helpful.

Front office staff and restaurant staff not very friendly. We only had one shampoo and one conditioner for 3 people. When I called they said I had to come get my own. Thought it would have been nice if someone from housekeeping could have run it by. Also, was disappointed that there wasn’t a small gym on site.

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help with all questions or suggestions. The room was spacious and clean. Staff made sure to get us clean towels each day. Prime location, on the river with a great restaurant next door and adventures located on site. Breakfast tasted great and had lots of variety.

We had an adjacent room and could hear every word that was said. No matter what time we went for breakfast, all the tables were full, no where to sit. With waffles, gravy, cereal, it made it very hard to eat without a table.

location was great. the room was clean and bed was comfy. there was an odor in the room that we smelled every time we came back in but we got use to it. the room was pretty quite. only heard noise from other rooms one time. shower was hot and powerful. enjoyed the breakfast and the pool. it was very clean.

they were putting a new roof on the main building. the roofers had all of their trucks and tools in the covered area in front of the main door. we had to hunt a way in. everything was roped off with yellow tape but no signs telling you where to go or what to do. the front desk was apologetic

The staff was amazing! We were greeted by the friendly front desk ladies and allowed pre check in so we could get our parking pass and get out on the water. The “dock master” went ABOVE and BEYOND helping us get what we needed to park our trailer and boat in the slip.. he even came out and helped unload the boat into the water! The breakfast was pretty good, lots of options and well maintained with staff on top of replenishing anything that ran out. The rooms were clean and towels, replaced daily. Convenient restaurant and bar RIGHT next door. Also, decent area with grills and picnic tables for cooking out!

More boats slips is the only thing I can think of needing improvement. It’s very busy there with it being scallop season and if you don’t come in early enough then you risk missing out on a slip and having to tie off other boats. Luckily, Cracker’s, the restaurant next door (basically on the same property) has a dock with several slips and we didn’t have any issues docking there since we ate there most nights.

We stayed during scallop season and it was pleasant. Now with all the upgrades it is was excellent. Staff was helpful and really nice. The location is truly 👌 awesome. It is right by the bay, we could launch our kayaks and go

Nothing really, wouldn't mind having the rooms that are newly renovated havinga king bed option. Also we have a dog now and they only accept service animals. I get it with all the changes though

The Reception Desk staff was excellent: helpful, friendly, efficient. The most impressed we were was with the (included) Breakfast staff. Hard-working, kept all things moving, helpful and deserves extra credit from BW.

Our room had an odd smell. Some of the facilities in our room seems slightly dingy, in particular in the bathroom. Nonetheless, this "Standard" room met our "Standard" expectations: not bad, not special.
