Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Inverness, an IHG Hotel

I liked that there was recycling trash cans and the staff doing the breakfast were absolutely wonderful

I did Like that the pool closed at 8 o’clock. We were told that there was a lighting issue, but I don’t understand when we swim at our own risk during the day, why can’t we swim at our own risk at night? it was very hot during the week that we stayed in Florida and it would’ve been nice to dip in the pool in the evenings 

This hotel was great. The room was comfortable and one thing I noticed is that it was quiet. In other words, you didn't hear noise from the room next to you or out in the hallway. The cleaning staff was terrific and very accomodating when we'd ask for more towels, etc. The breakfast was excellent. It was kept stocked and cleaned up even tho there were many people coming and going throughout the breakfast hours. Plus they offered more variety than most hotel breakfasts I've seen. The front desk staff was very helpful with all of our questions as well. We'd definitely go back to this hotel again!

The pool was mineral water-- just like the springs we came to visit! The bed and pillows were so unbelievably comfortable. We had 2 adults and 4 kids, plus my ESA dog. The king suite with a sofa bed worked out great. They even let us have a pool party for our 15 year old since most of the parks were closed due to the storm. Definitely will book this place again. Thank you Joy and the staff members for allowing us to celebrate here.

Unsavory types sleeping in their (2) vehicles in the parking lot. When we mentioned this to the night clerk, she said that there was nothing she could do. We felt uncomfortable walking our dog out front.

The room was very nice, spacious, and the beds were very comfy. The pool was very nice too.

Breakfast was terrible. Scrambled eggs looked like they were made of plastic. There was no bacon either. AC was noisy but this was our 5th hotel in Florida during our 2 weeks stay and they are all the same very noisy when old.

The breakfast was hot. During covid, many hotels didn't have hot breakfast but this place did. And it was an exceptional breakfast! They had a pancake machine, eggs, biscuts, gravy, cereal, yogurt and fresh fruit to name a few items. It was really fantastic. We were there for our honeymoon and the front desk lady made us swans out of the towels! It was really adorable to see and made us feel very special. We had the room with the jacuzzi tub and that was fantastic as well.

There was no hot tub and the pool wasn't heated. We traveled during December, so it was a little chilly outside. I would have enjoyed the pool if it had been heated. It wasn't though, so we didn't go in at all. The hotel itself was a little ways away from any restaurants, so we had to travel for food, but it wasn't that bad.

There was a big black snake near the pool. As we come from the UK this was quite scary for us. We told the receptionist who said ‘that’s George!’She didn’t say ‘he’s a …., he’s harmless’…..When we left we mentioned it again to 2 other receptionists; they had no idea what we were talking about?!!!

The location was a great in between since we we're traveling to both Rainbow Springs and Homosassa, so it was a great middle point!

There could have been more food options closer to the hotel.

Friendly staff and service. The hotel was very clean and met all of our needs. Kids loved the pool. And the location of the hotel couldn’t have been more convenient. Thank you to the staff.
