SpringHill Suites by Marriott Ocala

Requested a clean, quiet and safe room and I received all three requests. Hotel staff was friendly attentive and very respectful. Great place to stay and I anticipate I will book again on my next visit to Ocala.

Went to breakfast on Sunday morning about 8:30 and had to wait until around 9:00 for more food to be brought out. I ended up just eating some oatmeal (which was good) but was hoping for some scramble eggs. The egg omelets had peppers which my sense stomach can not tolerate early in the morning. Not complaining but was the only thing during my stay that was not 100% for me.

The hotel was in a perfect location. It was new, modern, spacious. The staff were very warm, welcoming and professional. The hotel rooms was large, comfortably fitted 2 adults and 3 teenagers. Great separate seating, working area. Bathroom was spacious, clean, well stocked. The continental breakfast far exceeded expectation, really lovely. We would definitely return.

Nothing to dislike

Loved the bathroom, the attention to details such as a clock with time on three sides! Hair dryer, extra blanket, microwave. Moveable tv that was easy to use with our Netflix

Loud tv on Fox tv while I am having breakfast early in the morning. I don’t need noise everywhere I go, including the patio. I requested a wake up call but it never came.

The rooms are well designed to be functional and spacious. The coffee in the lobby is plentiful and easy to access. The staff was very friendly.

It is to be expected for hotels in this price range, however the sheet and towel quality isn't great. The location is also functional and not pretty.

Very comfortable beds. A very nice fitness room & pool. There was a breakfast buffet we missed as it was closed at 9:30AM.

The breakfast, which was included in the moderate room fee, closed up at 9:30AM. I found that too early.

Our third stay in about a month. We are in the process of building our new home. We had stayed in 3 other suites in the area before we found Sptingfield more moderately priced but no comparison in staff, cleanliness, and our dog loved it also. Although the other suites did not charge for the dog but that is their policy.

We thought dog fee was unexpected possibly our fault for not checking policy. But we have hot had to pay fee at other suites.

Loved the swimming pool, heated and clean. Also loved the shower in the room and the trundle bed.

Although mostly clean, there were some pet hairs visible in the room upon arrival. I get that it's a pet friendly hotel but some of my family members have allergies and we would have preferred a room that was not used for guests with pets.

MY SON AND WIFE STAYED AT SPRING HILL AND WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR STAY. I MADE THE RESERVATION AND PAID THE BILL AFTER HEARING GOOD REPORTS FROM LOCAL FRIENDS I WILL CONTINUE IN THEFUTURE.......................................IT WAS TOP SHELF..............................THANK YOU !!

New! We like to go to new properties just opening up! It was beautiful.... things were unusual because of the virus.... I think when we can eat at a table after getting our own food it will be different! The hostess was very personable and very good at making you feel at ease. You have a winner there!!

Hard to get into.....refrig didn’t get cold....

The staff here is amazing. Breakfast was delicious and well put together! I definitely recommend this place. The staff is super friendly and on point!!!

My daughter (7 years old), my husband and I, went to the indoor pool to enjoy an evening swim. Eventually a family of 5 joined in (2 adults 3 kids). The pool has a sign, indicating only 9 people at a time. However, a group of (8 or more) young adults Eventually join as well. They were loud, using profanity, smoking, drinking alcoholic beverages and horse playing. The front desk was notified that capacity had exceeded their recommendations, but nothing was done. Eventually the family of 5 leave the pool, and soon after we did too. Not behavior acceptable for young children. BUT ALSO, DUE TO COVID. GUIDELINES SHOULD HAVE BEEN MANDATED. FOR EVERYONE'S SAFETY.
