Nice location, quiet. Nice beach.

Beware- Ocean view does not mean Ocean Front!! The first room I was assigned had a view of the parking lot! Had to pay an additional $85 to be upgraded to ocean front. Was supposed to be a king size bed but ended up with 2 queens. Dirty bathroom (tile/grout) in shower and behind bathroom door. Pool in need of resurfacing in some areas.

Learning that our Booking.com rate did NOT include breakfast and that we had to pay $40+ per day to have a room on the SUNNY side of the building. Felt a bit negative about that!

The staff's incredible attitude and energy during a very difficult time for them in renovation after back to back hurricanes. I knew they were under construction, they were very clear about it in website, confirmation, reminders, etc. But it was perfect! Kori and Sega were a delight, never wavering from their kindness and never ending smile :) The only inconvenience was walking a few extra steps to the beach. And after doing that and seeing the devastation, I truly commend everyone for their fortitude. Thank you again Kori and Sega...two gems to be sure! (Complimentary drinks were a wonderful offering as well)

I read the posted reviews AFTER I had already booked our stay, and I will tell you I was a bit nervous that I may have screwed up in choosing this location. We arrived, and Kori at the front desk was super helpful, professional, and polite. Our room was a bit dated, but it was super clean. Which, had it not been, would have been a serious issue with us. We were told in advance that the hotel was still undergoing hurricane repairs, and that along with the beach access, there would be only streaming tv available. There was that, as well as other indicators, throughout the hotel of ongoing repairs. I made my way down to the beach and took a nice walk, and noted that very few hotels, even way more expensive ones, had accesses that were still serviceable. So, I don't see how anyone could hold that against them. The pool deck area was our favorite part of our stay. We spent 2 days hanging out in the pool and just enjoyed every minute of it. The pool is large, with plenty of tables and deck chairs. There's even a DJ at the tiki bar. It is a great opportunity to mix and mingle with others. We loved the fact that this location was a bit more removed from the more crowded Daytona main beaches. It was busy here but not overcrowded, which we loved. I would not hesitate in the least in coming back again. In fact, looking forward to doing so.

As stated above, the hotel is undergoing renovations related to last years hurricanes, but so are all of the hotels in the area. There was nothing so wrong here that it would cause us to not enjoy our stay

The service was amazing When we checked in with Kori at the front desk she was so welcoming and phenomenal, she had a big part of why we enjoyed it so much!! Even helped find restaurants my daughter could eat at with her dietary restrictions. I WILL be staying here again the next time I go and I hope Kori is still there when we do!!! My daughter had a wonderful 15th birthday!!

There wasn't much we didn't like. Even though due to hurricanes the beach access was a bit next door we didn't mind the extra few feet of walking and would do it again!!

Being near the beach, location of other stores, the happy hour, pool area and balcony. The restaurant onsite and being able to reach someone if needed.

I did not like the old paint peeling from the walls, door and in the bathroom ceiling. The door to the balcony was dirty and did not like the side view of the hotel...looking at trash in the dumpsters. The ice machine didn't work, sometimes and the vending machines on the first floor. The rooms inside didn't have any tv guide. The furniture was a little old, with no handle on one of the dresser drawers.

We didn't eat at the on site restaurant due to pricing. We did get drinks at the Tiki Bar which was really, really good. The free drinks were an awesome perk. The location was great, the pool area and outside area was amazing.

The staff could have been friendlier. The night shift girl at the front desk was so nice, the day shift lady that checked us in and worked during the day was not friendly or inciting at all. The house keepers acted aggravated or like they didn't want to do their job. We had issues with our room keys not working. The rooms needed to be a little cleaner, the hotel and rooms could use updates.

We enjoyed our stay it was close enough to the beach that I didn’t have to walk far except for on the beach.

I was just a little disappointed I had asked at booking for a room with walk in shower we got one with a tub. The reason being was because I have severe arthritis from past cancer and husband has post cancer issues. Plus the toilet was so low it made it difficult to get up and down with no grab bars.

The staff was great, we had our side balcony I could see the ocean. They are working very hard on get things back together after the hurricane came through, but I couldn't ask for no better. Room were very nice, bar and lounge had great food, we was able to have turkey for Thanksgiving. It was great..ty 😃🥳

The hurricane came through and it messed up beach access so we had to find a way to the beach. The room are not very bright but it was better than I've had before..

The smell was horrible, I brought my own supplies to change the smell. The man from housekeeping was weird an a bit scary. He scared my kids and staring at us as we walked by, kept creeping up everywhere we went and would literally stop what he was doing to watch us walk away (females) reported to front desk an she blew it off. Was very uncomfortable during the stay.
