Fountain Beach Resort - Daytona Beach

Everything was wonderful at the hotel plus to have the tiki bar ‘pool is very nice,Our room was clean and nice,

Our room was clean and nice, but unfortunately the only thing that I would say they need to change is there continental breakfast it consisted of cereal and muffins no toaster bagel and they had a woman checking for bands as u walked in we called her the breakfast Nazi , my boyfriend was told he was not allowed to fill up my big cup with coffee which is what we usually do so we can bring it to the room and both drink off of it ….. they acted like this breakfast was made of gold I have stayed in other hotels where you have access to coffee 24 seven was a little bit ridiculous…

Great location and staff. Nice room and we LOVED the balcony. The Tiki Bar was awesome. And having the Landshark bar and Crabby Joe's a short walk away was great.

The bed was unbelievably uncomfortable. I'm glad we just stayed two nights. The bathroom was TINY. And, really, I can't believe in the 21st century why even SMALL bathrooms don't have air.fans. Does anyone NOT have one in their home bathrooms these days? And we understand that there is no beach access because of the storm, but it seems like the hotel could provide some access, maybe at the empty lot next door even as a temporary fix. Still, we prefer private hotel to the big corporations and we had a fine time.

The location is fantastic and the food was amazing at Oasis Tiki Bar which is near the pool with a beautiful view of the beach and they play great music. I have to say the entire staff was very nice and friendly. Stayed thru hurricane Ian and everyone was amazing and the place is dated but very clean, the lobby is awesome! I'll definitely go back here.

Twice the staff walked into my room right after knocking so I learned to put the chain lock on after the first time it happened. They were checking the first time to bring the chairs in off the balcony before hurricane Ian hit but they didn't do it in the room next to mine which was vacant so that may have just been that they had the wrong room then after the storm to see if there was water damage. Otherwise everything was great!!

The property completely exceeded my expectations, especially since Hurricane Ian hit the area ,4 days earlier

Nothing. Would've like to enjoy the pool but once again that was out of their control due to the Hurricane

Location, pool, hot tub.

Both doors did not close securely and the deadbolt on the door into the hallway did not work at all. Did not feel safe at night. Told the office but nothing was done about it.

Everything was good . Hurricane damage was a letdown but not the fault of the hotel . I would definitely go back . Keep up the great work .

The room was super cozy and seemed well kept up. Its an older hotel so certain things were a little run down but not enough for me to complain about. The beach access is great and the pool looked very refreshing but it rained most of our stay so we weren't able to use it. The breakfast was good for what it was. A very basic continental with bagels, cereals and danishes. The staff was super accommodating we never had an issue with the staff. We would most definitely stay again!

The elevator system could use a little updating. Upon checkout time it was really chaotic. Our toilet wasn't the best flusher but it worked. The cable options were terrible, though. It's a smart tv so we were able to login to some streaming services of our own, but there was no actual cable. Like regular ABC, CBS, or Fox. Not to mention others like AMC or USA..etc. It was basically just "channels" of the same show. Each channel was a different show. Weird. We spent a lot of time in the room and it would've been cool to have regular cable.

Location was great. Easy access to the highway leading to the Daytona Motor Speedway. There are many places to have a meal in the area with some in walking distance. The room was the right size with some funky decor which was kinda cool. There was a small kitchenette which we didn't use but a nice addition. Beach access was limited due to the damage from the hurricane. If there was, it would have been really nice for future guests.

Didn't care for the floor. I wish it was carpeted. The tile/linoleum make it kinda cold. I reserved a two bed room but got a one bed room with a fold out futon type bed. I would have preferred two beds.

I didn’t know it came with a mini kitchen. everything you need. the location was great. the decor was perfect - very beachy. the staff could not have been friendlier. So Nice and welcoming. the bar was friendly and reasonable. the water pressure in the shower was great. the bathroom was spotless. the bed was comfy and good choice of pillows.

this area recently had hurricane Nicole and is still experiencing power outages per the notice from FPL throughout the hotel. however, the main room could have been cleaner. the ceiling fan needed cleaning. dust bunnies and a burned out bulb. the lamps needed cleaning and they were rusty. no bulb in one of the bed lamps. there was water damage on the ceiling and peeling. the TV was tiny by todays standards. very minor compared with my entire experience.

The room.was really nice and the view was awesome. It was conveniently located and the tiki bar was great.

Roaches by the coffee pot in the kitchen Otherwise it was good. Could of had a nicer person at the door of the continental breakfast.
