Holiday Inn Express Pensacola Downtown, an IHG Hotel

One of the nicer Holiday Inn Express properties for service, cleanliness, and location. The staff here make this hotel stand out with simple courtesy and caring. The common space is inviting and flexible and they stock a number of convenience items in case you left something behind.

The downtown location uses parking offsite. We had several items to carry and the distance and stairs made it challenging to move our gear. The outside pool area is nice but it is really around back. Families with kids should watch since it very accessible from outside of the hotel.

The moment we entered the lobby, we were greeted by Ashley. She was helpful, courteous and friendly -- exactly what we needed after a rough morning. She is a bowl of sunshine! She accommodated our request perfectly and gave us room 223 -- a clean, spacious room with a king bed and nice view. We had the pleasure of meeting Leslie and Gabriella when we checked out after having a delicious breakfast of fresh scrambled eggs, bacon, OJ, cinnamon rolls and coffee. Everything was just perfect and we can't wait to come back. The location was fantastic too! Brava!

This was a staycation for me & I booked a Queen Double room and everything was very clean & tidy. The breakfast buffet was very nice. Love the updated pancake maker, and everything was freshly made. The beds was so comfy and the staff were very nice/great customer service

The only complaint, I could make was there was no water bottles supplied for the coffee maker inside the room. The room came with a Keurig, but there was no water bottles to make the coffee. I ended up purchasing my own, but that was my only complaint about my stay.

I booked a last minute stay at the holiday inn downtown Pensacola for Memorial Day weekend for my family. The hotel was really nice, clean, and the staff was very friendly. Walking distance to a lot of different dining options. It had a pool with a firepit and lounge area where we were able to sit and watch our kids swim. The hotel also offered a breakfast buffet and the kids loved the free snacks that were put out during the day. A also a short car ride to the beach.

We stayed at this location after I had a small surgery. I needed to stay in town but my insurance wouldn’t cover an overnight stay in the hospital. We picked this hotel based in the location to downtown and we were not disappointed! It was a very well maintained property. The beds were extremely comfortable and the air was set to have the room cool when we arrived! They have plenty of different type of snacks that you can purchase and the free cookies were a nice snack after not eating all day! I look forward to staying here again!

The parking can seem a little weird, but there are several entrances you can enter through after check-in. The breakfast could have been a little hotter, but hey.. it’s free breakfast! :)

the hotel was in an excellent location and the staff was great. the room was very clean, current and comfortable. the beds were VERY comfortable. we had plenty of pillow options.

felt I was charged more than others for my room, but ok, it is COVID time so I could live with that. the fact that SO MANY people were smoking by the front entrance and you had to walk through that each time was a drawback. perhaps an alternative smoking "deck"?

I loved everything about our stay!! Kitchen ladies were phenomenal especially the older lady! she was superrrrrr friendly!! Every staff greeted you with a Good morning and a smile!!!! Beat place I’ve stayed!!

Pool needs to be cleaned… water was always dirty!

The Staff was Excellent and Very Friendly! I text and ask for an earlier check in time and they responded very quickly! The ladies that handles the breakfast was very nice and helpful! Location was perfect as well! Oh and I almost forgot the Cookies and Popcorn was Delicious lol my kids loved that part

My daughter & I loved the location of the hotel. I liked that they had decorated for Halloween. I also liked the cookies they had. The breakfast is the best I've had at a hotel. The staff was very friendly.

I can't really think of anything that I did not like. Staff was nice, room was comfortable and clean, the location was great and the breakfast was great.

Everything about my staff was exceptional. The customer service was superior and friendly from check-in to check-out. Location is fantastic and easy to get to. Breakfast was also a pleasant surprise. Fitness center was on target. Kudos to the entire team.
