This place is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Breakfast is unmissable if you're a guest there, as they serve a variety of delicious homemade food as well as fruit, coffee and juices. The quiche Lorraine, French toast, waffles, scrambled eggs and breakfast casserole were all beautiful, and Miss Barb and David, as well as Preston and Carol were the most accommodating friendly hosts who will go out of their way to make sure you're happy, and are always happy to chat and tell you about places to go nearby too! There's a drinks fridge full of cold drinks for guests, and home baked treats as well which were gorgeous. You also have to try the Cottage Cafe next door as their sandwiches and wraps are amazing! (The smoked turkey on swiss being my personal favourite, my partner loved the beef and provolone). The staff there are all so friendly and will never let your drink run empty! We stayed in Victoria's Room, which is the smallest of the four rooms there but is still a good size, and the bed was SO comfy! It has a lovely sized private external bathroom which is literally a few steps across from the room. The fact that it was so cheap was just a huge bonus for us. Its' location is great as it's right Downtown you're only a stone's throw away from Palafox St and Historic Downtown, as well as being a short drive to Pensacola Beach which you must also go to! We've already decided we're coming back next year, we couldn't possibly stay anywhere else! I can't rate this place enough, and as Barb and Chuck were away on vacation for most of the time we were there, David and Preston took amazing care of us! We can't thank them enough for being such friendly and welcoming hosts, and for keeping us fed in the mornings. They're both a credit to the place! Thank you so much for making our stay (and our first trip abroad together as a couple, not to mention my partner's first time back home to the states in almost 10 years) so special.

Honestly can't think of a thing, other than that we didn't stay long enough :(

The owner of the bed and breakfast was very welcoming and very friendly. The breakfast was excellent.

The shower head in the room I was in was not but it depends on working real well the water was not coming out that needs to be fixed. Also the room had a little smell to it.

My daughter and I were in awe of the house itself, but once we saw the inside we were blown away. The house is absolutely gorgeous. It has the original wood staircase and flooring on the first floor. We were told about the man who built it and when it was built (1892). It is in a good location, down town is only a few blocks away. The bed was extremely comfortable and even though our bedroom was a semi private bathroom (it was directly across the hall) it was very nice, clean and equipped with everything we needed. The best part was it was just our bathroom. We had a wonderful two night stay.

Loved our stay in Pensacola. The location is great, close to historic area as well as being within walkable distance to downtown. I did book two rooms on the stay as initially could only get the small room for our first night and as staying for 3 nights felt the larger bedrooms more appropriate. The ensuite room was beautiful and so in period with the rest of the property. The house is full of antiques and curios and I really felt that I had gone back in time. Barbee is such a friendly and very informed lady. She goes out of her way to ensure that your stay is pleasant. Breakfast is a true southern affair, beautifully presented and an assortment of well cooked favourites, but she takes into account individual likes/dislikes and there is flexibility on time. It was lovely meeting other guests at breakfast and passing on tips about the area.

Nothing...would recommend to family and friends. A great place to relax and unwind.

This B&B is beautiful! It’s like stepping back in time! The furnishings are lovely and it’s very nice to come back to after a day visiting downtown Pensacola! Barb our hostess is wonderful and very interesting! She also makes a delicious breakfast each morning! Meeting other guests is always nice and this time was no exception! This B&B is conveniently located to downtown and lovely shops and restaurants! We love the hit tv series “Ghosts “... while this B&B doesn’t look anything like the “Woodstone Mansion “... the vibe is definitely there! This house was built in 1892! We really enjoyed the vibe here and would definitely return on another trip to beautiful Pensacola!

Nothing!

Beautiful antique setting, well kept. Reception by the owner was very warm and inviting. Big comfy beds. Breakfast was included and cooked on the spot for every guest. Enjoyed the fresh fruit salad :D

This is just a personal thing, but it gets really bright in the morning in the rooms. The drapes don't hold out any light really, waking me up pretty early. I'm used to sleep in complete darkness at home (and no, I'm not a vampire ;-) . But as said, that's just a complete personal thing. I can't think of anything bad to say about the place. Would definitely stay again !

Location was very good. The interior pictures and design items were interesting and gave some insight into owners lives. Room was very comfortable once it had cooled down (A/C unit in room was off when I arrived). Breakfast was very good.

The A/C unit in room had a clogged filter (I cleaned it before turning on). The bathroom had no real A/C (I knew it was physically separate from the room- that was not a problem).

The house was lovely and we really enjoyed seeing all the antiques around the home. We stayed in the Captain's Room and it was really big and nice bathroom. It was nice having modern conveniences within an old place.

The entrance to the parking was very steep and not alot of places to park. The room only had a queen bed and we were a bit uncomfortable given that we normally sleep in a king bed.

We loved the beautiful architecture of the house inside and out . The house is amazing , I felt transported to the 19th century , the beds are comfy , the rooms very spacious ,the house is warm , the attention of Mrs. Barbee is great . You can get coffee, tea, sodas , she even baked some goodies you can take anytime . There is a fridge , kettle and microwave next to the dinning rooms plus coffee and tea all time . The breakfast is complete and delicious , it includes fruit, orange juice , biscuits , coffee or tea, eggs ,bacon , I couldn't even finish it because it was big and I eat little but anyway it was yummy . I can't wait to come back to this beautiful home.

I would suggest to fix the entrance to the parking lot , it was kind of difficult for us specially at nigth, it is very narrow .

The house is beautiful and very original. The staff is welcoming, friendly and will provide suggestions for restaurants near by. They also run a local cafe that's right beside the Victorian Bed and Breakfast which is not only convenient but delicious! I had homemade chili with sweet cornbread and dessert, of course. I ended up eating lunch there twice. The other guest I met were also nice and conversations enjoyable. I will most definitely be going back in the future.

The only drawback was the parking area. It was small, a good size tree in the way when backing up and hard to find a spot when the cafe is open.
