The Lucie

Debbie in the Breakfast area was cheerful, friendly and a very hard worker going above and beyond to accommodate any requests. The availability of pool towels was appreciated. Beautiful pool and Beach access was perfect. The beds and pillows were quite comfortable and the room was quiet with a nicely chosen decor. Staff was helpful and accommodating.

Our room view was the metal roof top of the covered entrance( with a piece of clothing on it) That should be absolutely the last room booked to anyone. The bathroom was very small and crowded. It was difficult to open and close the door due to the logistics of the toilet and shower. Good thing we are small ladies. Also, No counter space in the bathroom with a very low level sink.

We came for the beach. It was great. We will be back soon.

The location is perfect. Ocean view withiut a balcony are perfect because they have a floor to ceiling sliding glass door with a veranda, so you can open the door and enjoy the ocean breeze.

it’s a small hotel. it was evident the rooms don’t get a deep cleaning after each guest… we found a lot of very dusty corners and surfaces that were out of our immediate view. The restaurant closes at 8pm, which is too early. The pool closes way too early.

We prefer to stay at hotels with at least 5 star reviews. The Lucie was the closest hotel to where we needed to be and the reviews were at in the 3 star range. The Lucie is deserving of a 10 star review. The Tiki bar was a fun place, breakfast and coffee were excellent, the staff went over and above, although they didn't need to. We had a great time and don't let the lower rated stars deter you from staying. We had a balcony over looking the beach and I can't wait to go back!

We loved everything about the Lucie! Shawn, Laurie, Christina were friendly and so helpful. Our car would not start and Alton a staff member in facilities came out to help us. The cafe had great breakfast and coffee. The Tiki bar was awesome! The bartender was friendly and made great drinks. We cannot say enough about the hotel, the staff and service. The room on the ocean was fantastic! We will definitely be back and tell our friends and family.

Location is great beach at "one step" of the hotel, supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants close (some walkable and others less than 7minutes drive). Nice pool and set-up around it the spa jacuzzi type next and good variety at the tiki bar (food and drinks). At the Bristo Awesome breakfast (good quality) and Starbucks coffee a plus. Very clean and neat. Room service staff very respectful, patient and taking care of all your needs. Overall the entire staff of the hotel very welcoming, attentive and accommodating very nice people. Like the fitness room good variety of dumbbells. The area might look busy because of traffic but I can garantee that it is a very quiet, relaxing and safe area.

One of the elevators needs fixing just to go side to side with the rest of the hotel facilities. Be aware if you go with a group (family, friends,etc) and you get the breakfast included staying (is just 2 complimentary breakfast and you will have to pay for everything else). For me not a big deal, I just was under the impression that it was included for all the guests that I listed .

~the room and beds were very comfortable. The bathroom however was problematic: The bathroom door and shower door collided with one another. And there was a absolutely no where to hang wet or used towels! Extremely inconvenient. Not sure what the resort fee was for since you had to pay separately for a chair and umbrella. What was included…parking? Decor was very pleasant and restful.

great location. kids loved the pool and the beach was so close. walking distance to great restaurants. pool snack/bar super convenient though wish they didn't serve everything in disposable containers.

excessive use of single use plastic at the pool bar. seems like some sustainability efforts are in order. there are other options for safe and efficient service on a pool deck that doesn't require washing a ton of dishes.

All the food was prepared when you ordered. It was all delicious and great portion sizes for the price. There is a Tiki Bat next to the pool with great service for everyone. Lots of choices of beverages for kids and adults. The pool area was great too. It was very clean and the staff is very attentive to your needs.

The beach sand was too hot! I don’t think they could a thing about that.

The hotel was right on the beach. It’s a beautiful beach in a wonderful location close to many other beaches & amenities. Woke up early every morning to watch the spectacular sunrises. The staff is friendly & accommodating. I would definitely come back again.

There isn’t a true Starbucks on the property, they serve Starbucks coffee. Not a deal breaker but should state that clearly in description.
