My stay at Old Colorado Inn at (the Owl House) was the best place I've stayed at, they went above and beyond making sure you were comfortable and had everything you needed, the place was so clean and beds were so comfortable there was so much to do walking distanced, food was really good at all the restaurants, the river walk was really cool, I just can't say enough nice things about this place, I'm already placing another trip back.
I liked everything! Not one one thing did I not like, it was the most enjoyable trip ever! People watching from our room to the river walk was the best entertaining ever! (The Owl House) at Old Colorado Inn

Perfect location for walking around town. Close to restaurants and the boardwalk. Customer service was the best ever. We had an issue with noise from the tiki bar and were moved to an upgraded quiet location. They followed up during our stay and after check out to make sure everything was ok. Because of the exceptional customer service and great location we are certain to return to Old Colorado Inn.

Lovely quaint hotel. We felt right at home and loved the thoughtful decor and the outdoor space. It felt like we were in historic Savannah. The downtown area is also really cute and filled with great restaurants and shops all in short walking distance. Excellent location, lovely hotel, great stay! We will definitely stay again.

Our cottage had kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms, laundry room and outside sitting area. Old 1940's style cottage -- so cute. Location was wonderful -- you can walk across the street to the river, or around the corner to shops and restaurants. We stayed only one night -- to break up our ride down to the Keys. So glad we decided to stay here. Staff was absolutely wonderful.
No cons about this Inn. Stuart Fl is pretty crowded - "round abouts" are crazy.

The location was perfect, right in the center of downtown Stuart. The boardwalk was out the door and all the restaurants and shops of Stuart were also convenient.
No dislikes. Some might complain about taking suitcases up a long flight of stairs but this posed no problem for us.

The hotel, houses and the tiki bar make this a really comfortable and fun property. The entire staff is amazing, friendly, hospitable and prompt, calling daily to see if we needed anything like water or coffee or towels. We were incredibly grateful to be upgraded to the gorgeous Owl House, right on the St Lucie river, with expansive views of the river from the house and the very large yard. This is the perfect place to stay while exploring downtown historic waterfront Stuart and the nearby Beaches. We will be back!

We stayed last week for one night and liked it so much that we came back this week for 3 more days. Great combination of charm, uniqueness, location and a very friendly and helpful owner/operator. Lovely place. We will return. 10 Stars! *********
No real down sides. We stayed in a room next to the Sneaki Teaki restaurant/bar. Steve, the owner was very up front about the possible noise. Quite frankly, it was not noisy and was not an issue for us. I wish we could stay longer, to be able to sample all of the great restaurants, wine bars and such.

Fantastic little hideaway in Stuart! Centrally located in the middle of the quaint little town. Super clean and comfortable! We will definitely be back.
My only issue is that we checked in quite late, around 930 and did not have much time to find a bite to eat. By the time we realized the best places in town, they were just about to close the kitchen. Not the inns fault at all and they were quite commentating about my late arrival.

The staff is so welcoming. We have stayed in two different rooms and both were very clean. Beds are super comfortable. The location is ridiculously fabulous. It’s a quaint, historic hotel that they have kept very nice. Rooms have a lot of space. You won’t regret staying here.
