Reunion Resort & Golf Club

Our villa was located in Cabana Court A-104. We had a 3 bedroom/3 bathroom superior villa (not sure there’s much of a difference between superior & deluxe other than price and couple hundred sq. ft.). Our villa was about a 2 min or less drive to waterpark and a short walk across the street to villas on Whisper Way’s playground (it’s a small one - no swings). The bigger and shaded playground is about a 7 minute ride from where we were to Grand Traverse Parkway (estate properties area). The pool at Cabana Court is small yet intimate. The biggest pool is located at Seven Eagles (it’s called The Cove). The pool at Centre Ridge location was closest to miniature golf & tennis. To play there’s an added fee.

My kids only did waterpark once as they preferred the pool since it was less people. They were disappointed that there was no game/arcade room although I have a screenshot from website stating the game room was located in the Seven Eagles part of the resort. However, the front desk representative told me it (game room) was removed during the pandemic. They had outdoor games for families like Connect Four and volleyball but it seemed to lack organized or scheduled kid friendly activities like other resorts.

We were walking distance to the water park amenities and Disney World was less than a 20 minute drive. The property was very clean and comfortable.

My only issue was that my reservation got changed which decreased the number of beds that I needed. I had a 3 bedroom with 2 of the rooms with 2 full size in each room and one king suite which gave us 5 beds. I have 4 children and we needed that setup. When I checked in they said it had a leak and they put us in room that had 4 beds but we were told our couch let out to a bed and it didn’t. I was not notified about the leak until they tried to put us in a different setup. My husband asked if we could switch rooms once the leak was fixed but that never happened.

Everything about the property was honestly amazing. When we arrived at our villa, we were shocked at how spacious it was. Despite how big the resort actually was, it never felt overcrowded no matter where we were. The complimentary shuttle that picks you up and brings you around the resort was EXTREMELY helpful as most amenities were not walking distance from our villa. The restaurants on site were all delicious and we loved the lazy River and mini golf! We also loved the private pool that each community had (most days we had the whole pool to ourselves!) We will definitely be coming back!

The property provided relaxation and good option for families but the pictures are misleading and do not represent the true unit.

The price was rather expensive for four days of such an outdated unit. The decor needs to be updated , and the ceiling had peeling paint, curtains with holes, outdated TVs. The grounds and pictures did not match the facility I thought I would receive for the price. The water park was nice, but closed frequently due to the weather. They really need to consider a later checkout time than 10:00 also to accommodate families that are traveling and not driving to the facility. After such an early checkout time at 10:00, housekeeping arrived at my door around 8:45 am. How rude and after told we were not leaving until checkout, another house keeper appeared at my door. This was so inconsiderate after spending all that money to stay at the facility.

Large rooms. Comfortable beds. Fun waterpark.

Property is very big and it was hard for us to find our way around it. GPS connection is awful within property so we kept getting lost. I would’ve prefer better signage and more informative map. TV in the rooms were pretty old and very small. Needs upgrading. Sound system at the water park doesn’t work. No one could understand their announcements . Water park should have a restaurant and servers. We had to wait 40 minutes to get our food from a food truck. Food was okay but a 5 star hotel should offer more. Would probably not return, very expensive for average stay.

The property, location, staff and amenities were great. The water filter in the refrigerator in our room was old and needed to be changed so we were not able to have clean water, but the staff did provide bottled water in the mean time. There were also ants everywhere in the apartment, especially in the kitchen. I had to clean the kitchen area the first night to get rid of them. They still would show up but not as severely.

The gym was a bit outdated and the water park didn’t let you bring in food. Also the shuttle drivers would drive very fast and it was very unsafe.

Just myself and my two three year olds. There was always so much to do. Our days started with breakfast on the balcony, Starbucks for all, parks or water park. The kids had me in the pool for 6. hours. straight. It was the most fun I’ve had in a long time. I met some really wonderful people, and my kids made so many friends. Plenty of shopping nearby to pick up groceries or whatever you might need. Everything was close/convenient. It’s definitely best to have a vehicle to get around in. I drove there, so I was set, but I can’t imagine not having had a car. The grocery stores nearby were intense. SOOO crowded, so be prepared for that. I loved that there was a washer/dryer in the unit, as well as a full/stocked kitchen. I cooked in most nights. The villas are so quiet— you rarely hear other occupants in the building. We stayed in The Grande, and I should note that I booked a one bedroom villa with two queen beds. They had upgraded our reservation (to my surprise) and when we walked into the unit we were delighted to find we now had two bedrooms— one with a king bed and the other with two queen beds. The kids were ecstatic to find they had their own room AND big kid beds. What a great surprise and treat for us all. The views were wonderful. Everyone there was outstanding— especially the concierge and even the groundskeepers! There’s Netflix and other streaming apps available in the rooms in case you want a night in. The Sealy Beautyrest mattresses were a fabulous touch, as were the plush pillows and bed linens. This was like home away from home. I’m so glad we missed the opportunity at the other place I was trying to book— this is a hidden gem. The pools were not crowded at all, and there are so many pools within the resort properties that you’re sure to find one that’s perfect and peaceful for you. My young kids and I are in love with Reunion now. We will be back soon. Thank you all so much for making this stay so special for us and for all that you do.

The only thing I didn’t like was leaving! I booked 5 days/4 nights. It just wasn’t enough time to really take advantage of everything the resort had to offer. I will definitely be back soon and will be strongly considering real estate there in the future. This place exceeded my expectations.

The room was beautiful with a fabulous view of the golf course. Some of the staff were very sweet and helpful. The beds were really comfy.

I had a HORRIBLE experience at their rooftop restaurant called Eleven. The waitress and hostess there treated me very badly, very rude. The hotel management were very kind when I was upset EXCEPT the man in charge of the restaurant staff didn’t seem to want to hear about it. He offered a free meal but made no effort to speak to me. I really didn’t care about the free food, I just wanted to be heard by the person who manages this behaviour.

The Whole Estate and the Spacious Room and feels really safe.

The Golf was Staff were underwhelming not really interested and not guiding us to where to go and not clear about tee directions and Was delayed and could only get 9 in on Palmer Course. Could not fault actual courses and Gentlemen checking us in was nice Kid. It's should be a 5 Star Occasion as Facilities are excellent.

The units are clean, big and comfortable for a family vacation. They have everything you need for your stay. Location is good. Not too far from everything

The unit we stayed in this time was dated. Could use an update on curtains, carpet and decor but still clean and spacious. Unable to use the pool with Waterpark due to at capacity. Had to wait awhile.
