The Brownwood Hotel & Spa0

We enjoyed the staff and the "Cowboy Chic" of the entire hotel. It was beautifully decorated and designed not to mentioned pridefully maintained. Any issues or concerns were handled quickly by the staff and without a second thought. We were made to feel welcomed and important as anyone else. The sheets and duvet covers were so soft and comfortable that I ordered a set for my own house! Paula was our bartender who was able to make some great drinks that were not on their every day menu. In the morning we were treated to breakfast which included buffet, waffles, bacon, sausage, potatoes and a variety of fruits.

There was nothing that we could think of. Any issues we had were handled quickly by the staff and was nothing negative against the hotel itself.

Coffee in the lobby was $2,00...in most hotels the coffee is complimentary

We lost one of our bags and the person at the front deck was really nice and really tried to help us find it. Roger, who was the nighttime Security person Bent over backwards to try and find it. Sfer a few hours the cleaning team found it and turned it into Security/lost and found, who emediately called us to come and pick it up. We were so relieved. Awesome job on taking care of the customers.

I liked the wood floors with only limited carpeting right by the beds. I liked the quiet in the room, and the arrangement of the room (e.g., desk and lamp separate from fridge; tea near fridge; coat rack right inside near the key that kept lights on).

I would have like separate reading lights. When one went to sleep early, the other had to turn off the one shared light between the beds or the sleeper had to hide her eyes from the light. Also, the room was freezing, stuck at 69 degrees; I tried several times unsuccessfully to raise the temp; I didn't call the desk because I awoke freezing in the middle of the night.

I did not eat breakfast because I do not like buffet breakfasts--too expensive and I will eat too much

Upon checkout, staff member right in front of me ignored me, finished that call and took another call and proceeded to talk to that person for several minutes--she should have put that person on hold while she checked me out of my room. I was in a rush and was inconvenienced by her making me wait, she whispered I'll send you your bill in an email. Not exactly great customer service.

The hotel decor was fabulous: farmhouse chic! Everything was clean and Dominic at the front desk was extremely helpful! The rooms were decorated beautifully, the hallways were clean and Chic. We love the hotel and have already booked another stay. I need a firmer mattress so I’m hoping they can’t accommodate! We ate at the Wolf Gang Puck restaurant and it was delightful!

One issue:I’m not sure why they would put the pool right beside the restaurant so if you wanted to take a dip it would be on full display of the restaurant patrons! Yikes!

Beautiful hotel with great decor. I love the horse and cow themes. Nice showers and pool area. The pool was lovely and salty. Beautiful lobby! I loved the high ceilings in our room. The beds had the softest sheets. Nice showers and makeup mirror!

Not much to do around the hotel, and the breakfast and food nearby was pricey.

Great location, very nice with a great pool and attached to Wolfgang Puck Restaurant where we ate several times. Hotel has the Brownwood Western them and is just really really clean with friendly staff. There is a very small market with snacks and items you may need but there is also a Publix across the way where you can load up on water and snacks. There are very limited places to eat but a 10 minute walk to brownwood is doable but you have to cross a busy roundabout. We rented a golfcart for the week. The rooms are very spacious with beautiful showers and the beds are super comfy

They do not clean the rooms I think unless you stay for a week or request a cleaning which we did not. I am guessing this is due to covid but I don’t know. You have to call down for clean towels and coffee which they will deliver to room. All this was fine with us, however.

the amenities were awesome. restaurants were awesome. very clean! Katie ag the front desk was the very best staff member ever !!!!!

other staff, from management, restaurant, to housekeeping could use a brush up on customer service. something as simple as good morning can change the dynamic for the day .

Didn't have the breakfast, as it was $22. Location was fine for what it was needed for.

Fridge was small - probably too small. Just big enough for drinks and no snacks. Not enough bedding - it was freezing in the room. Comforter wasn't thick enough.
