Beach Haus Bal Harbour

- location is amazing - beach service - beautiful outside area - clean and spacious kitchen, living room and sleeping room - comfortable beds - keyless

- bathroom old and small, it needs renovation - the kitchen supplies were old and the square plates don’t fit in the microwave - no housekeeping included, we knew that, but would be nice if they would offer at least one day cleaning service for guests staying longer than 7 nights. - there were no cleaning supplies available in the apartment, only 1 dishwasher tab. Also something that could be provided.

The one bedroom apt was a great choice for my family (me plus my wife & our adult daughter). The apt was VERY spacious & well furnished. The king bed was comfortable. In addition, we used a roll-away which also was comfortable. Other highlights for us were the free bikes (riding to south beach) & use of loungers/tables at the beach nearby (900 feet away). One nearby restaurant we liked was Oli Cafe at 5825 Collins (inside the Corinthian condos). Their red snapper dinner (under $25) was terrific.

I loved the perfect location with a patio on the waterfront. The room was big and convenient. There was a kitchen and all the necessities to make a breakfast or quick lunch, Staying at Beach Haus I was looking for a non-buzzing place with quick access to the beach for a reasonable price. That was a good match. The beach was close and without crowds of people.

There is an avenue just in front of the hotel so note the possible noise and check the view from the window. I would definitely recommend the rooms with a view of the bay as you will have magnificent sunsets. I wish I knew this before booking. Also, note that the nearest supermarket is approximately 2km away, while a few restaurants are 1km away. If you have a car, a bicycle or can use a bus, that would not be a problem. And you could go to the southern part of Miami where night and cultural life is buzzing

Very nice room, big space, very well equipped.

The bathtub was nice, but the shower didn't work (water only went out to the bathtub, no way to make it through the shower).

The location is perfect, the closeness to the beach is what we were looking for. The quiet setting was also what we wanted.

The only comment I would have is that neither the cost of parking nor the extra charge for cleaning the room was informed at the time of the booking, so I would expect a better communication about the actual price of the stay. And the room reserved should be set up according to the reservation. We were 3 guests and only had towels at the room for 2 people. Also, the 9 to 5 schedule for the reception is not ideal, if guest need anything outside those hours is impossible to get it

My family (5 in the party) and I loved our two bedroom accommodations and our location to the beaches, restaurants and city activities. The building we were in is brand new so there were minor issues with newly installed appliances - the manager and staff were swiftly responsive and professional.

Little suggestions for this newly extended modernized property: 1) beautiful bathrooms - please put soap dishes in the showers. 2) please indicate in advance what type of Nespresso coffee maker is used for purchasing the pods. 3) perhaps provide dishwashing soap or pods, same for laundry. 4) provide a welcome manual or guide for guests on important numbers to call or suggestions for activities. 5) provide kid-friendly glassware. 6) make sure the appliance instructions are clear in both English/Spanish. 7) include a blender for the kitchen.

The location was amazing. We walked everywhere we wanted to be, Bal Harbour shops, Harding avenue for restaurants and boardwalk.The beach was literally 2mn from the hotel ,not crowded with a beautiful view of the bay.The room was big .I was with my 2 daughters and one baby.The beds were very comfortable,the kitchen was very convenient.I am really happy to write this review.The staff was very welcoming and accommodating all the way.

The shower was not so hot and the bathroom was a bit old.

The beach was very close by about less than 5 minutes walk. Quiet area and the room is big with all the kitchen amenities if needed. It is close to Bal Harbour Mall and Bal Harbour Surfside so there is plenty of eating place. There is a Publix market nearby the mall if you want to eat in.

There wasn’t a washer and dryer in the studio with queen beds so you have to go outside your unit to do laundry. Also, I don’t think they stock up their detergent regularly. I put $ to get detergent but none came out and it was after hour so I couldn’t get anyone to help with the situation.

We stayed in unit 301. It was on the water. If you can go for a unit on water do it so worth the extra $$. The walk to the beach was so easy and you received chair service from the Ritz Carlton hotel beach attendants, don't forget to tip them! This is such a great extra perk with your stay. The unit was clean, large and comfortable.

Everything was great but there is really no restaurants around. You really need a car in this area. This is especially true if you want to get groceries for your unit or drive to Surfside and beyond for meals. There is a 20 a night for parking but not a huge issue. Also I booked via Booking.com so no daily housekeeping but was not an issue for us. They did provide clean towels every day if needed.
