Grand Beach Hotel Surfside West

It's an excellent location in Surfside. Right around the block are many restaurants, Starbucks, Publix grocery store, CVS pharmacy. The property is beautiful and well maintained. Having two full bathrooms is very convenient in each room. It's also nice having an adults only pool as well as the two other pools. Our room had a large patio with a table and six chairs and two lounge chairs, all surrounded by tall landscaped grounds. It was nice having morning coffee on the patio and drinks in the afternoon out there.

Our only "complaint" was that the bed wasn't comfortable for us. It wasn't old or anything like that, it just made all my pressure points sore every night and disrupted my sleep a little but bed firmness is personal taste.

I don't like how room service came in my room every day and cleaned but did not leave me clean wash clothes n towels i called downstairs twice! also my first night my tv would not power on i had to call for some one to come fix it

Staff is rude. I would go ask a question and the overnight folks did not smile or say hello or anything. Just no manners. They should take some lessons from the day shift. No working a/c. Just a comfortable not cold.

Beautiful and clean. Beach access with chairs and umbrellas. Lots of pools and hot tubs.

My credit card was charged twice for the stay and it took me a week to get a real person on the phone to credit my credit card back the duplicate charge.

Laminate floor was not falling apart in an area. Balcony and table on balcony was full of bird excrement. When a hotel room door was closed near ours it shook our room

The beach was right outside the hotel, many pools even on rooftop. The decor was the most beautiful and elegant. Have big chess pieces and the food is great. Dinner in a romantic setting, with dim lights. Complimentary water on site. They have a pool table, on my way now to play now.

It was like paradise... The best hotel I've ever stayed at. Anytime I visit Miami, Grand Beach Hotel is the location. Price was a little high but was worth every moment.

I was so happy with the friendly atmosphere found in the hotel . When I arrived at the hotel the receptionist realized that they had mistakenly given away the room reserved for us. As a complimentary benefit, they bumped us up to a suite double in size. We were so happy.

I would ask the hotel staff to always have someone manning the front desk of both buildings. When I arrived at night the staff let me know that I needed to cross the street to the main building to check in.

Location was great - right by the beach and lots of places to eat. The facilities and pool area were brilliant! Really good set up for kids.

Nice rooms,had 2 bathrooms, spacious and comfortable.

I ordered a room with a balcony,when i got to the room i saw no balcony, i went down to ask for a balcony she said nothing left,i told her i paid more for the balcony room and it was comfirmed,?! She said you booked by a 3rd party not with us...after not giving in for few min,she said ok got one only on second floor which is street front ,i couldnt sit out cause was almost street level on collins.which is very busy st.

Clean, well appointed, good quality food and drinks. Gorgeous pool and beach. Large room

My sister is mentally ill and the staff was not nice to her, tried to get her to leave etc. because of this.
