Hyde Suites Midtown Miami

No breakfast was offered. Clean room. Nice pool area. Cool art in lobby.

At check in staff asked me about needing a quiet room. I responded “ like babies making noise?” And she nodded her head. I told her I was meeting someone at the pool on 7 and she put me on the 6th floor. Apparently the night club/restaurant is on 7 and it was very loud my first night and somewhat loud my second night. If she would have told me there would be noise from the bar on 7, I would have asked for a floor that was quieter. I was told there is a daily amenities charge. I asked what that was and was told it was for the housekeeper service. Every other hotel I have stayed at has the cleaning/towel service included in the room charge.

I was in Miami for business. I liked the location near the Miami Design District. I liked that the staff were consistently cheerful and helpful. The room was attractive with a nice view. I used both the business center and the gym, which were convenient.

The hotel has a sort of night club/ restaurant on the 7th floor, which was very lively and attracted a sort of raucous crowd. It's only open in the evening. I think a hotel of this level ought to offer something else, at least some place to have breakfast. Fortunately, it is next door to a Starbucks.

How close it was to everything that Midtown has to offer, even the ubers to and from the Miami Beach area were not a long drive at all. Great place to walk around. The pool and bar area was incredible and such a nice way to relax in the morning/evening in between doing our activities. They also let us do an even later check out which we all really appreciated.

We had to call multiple times to get extra towels and had to use our room towels at the pool. We eventually had to go to the desk and wait for towels in order to get the towels we wanted, however it was a little too late because we were leaving in just a few hours. Would have liked to have those towels when they went to clean the room initially.

Location, hygiene, safety, room square meters and all employees that helped us. Special THANKS to Chris the receptionist , the young bell boy from Venezuela and the receptionist lady from Ukraine. They were so friendly and professional.

Me and my husband liked everything. Nothing to complain about.

Well-located hotel given I had meetings in the Midtown/Wynwood area. Room was large (standard room has a separate bedroom + living room). Bed was very comfortable, shower had good pressure (waterfall / over head shower). Would definitely stay again at the price I got.

Full kitchen but nothing to use besides coffee maker. Microwave couldn’t even be plugged in. Furniture, besides bed, seemed to be designed to be uncomfortable. Sofa was a brick. Bar Stools had no footrest, a big usable desk had a small cube to sit on. Huge Terrace had one uncomfortable chair and a small table. Fire alarm went off for an hr. Even after it was deemed a false alarm. Lights didn’t all work

Staff were really nice and always helpful, location is perfect in front of a target and surrounded by amazing restaurants. The one on the rooftop is a hidden gem, book in advance. 15 min walk from the art district which is fab to walk around etc. The apartment was very spacious and it's nice to have the terrace too. Housekeeping was very good. Building very secure. Starbucks right at the bottom which is a game changer in the morning.

Not that bad for our 10 days trip but they should definitely add some basics in the "kitchenette" like a KETTLE!, cutlery and crockery, wine/bottle opener, chopping board etc and maybe 1 bottle of water on arrival in fridge and snacks would have been great seeing the price of the room. the furniture on our terrace, there were only 1 chair and one tiny table, I think they could do better specially when there are 2 guests, so we could have had 1 seat each... The mattress was not good at all in our room (too soft) , but it's personal taste, however our back felt it straight away ! but again that didn't spoil the positive out of this place.

The staff was exceptionally nice. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and were very genuine. The hotel is in an amazing location in Miami that is central to many places to eat and shop and walk around. Their pool/spa is amazing, everything is very cleanly. It is very well worth the price!

Nothing - our stay was perfect. They accommodated our every need. There was nothing they could have done better to make our stay more enjoyable.

This is the perfect location if you’re wanting to be walking distance to just about everything. Restaurants, art district, shopping etc. we Parked our car at the hotel and didn’t use it one time over our stay. We walked everywhere because of how conveniently the hotel is located.

We loved the room, the location, the staff were great and the bed was very comfortable.

Just FYI There were no towels, wash clothes, silverware or dinnerware in the kitchen. I think having at least a wash cloth and towel by the kitchen sink is a must have.
