Travelodge by Wyndham Miami Biscayne Bay

I like how quaint this hotel is. The color theme of orange and white is appealing. It was clean for the most part. I LOVE all the windows in the room. I always prefer natural sunlight for my rooms. The location was very convenient. Burger King and the Shell gas station is across the street. The parking lot is very tiny but at least there is additional parking on the other side of the building. Be advised that you have to pay a $150 deposit. Apparently you get it back 2-4 business days after your stay.

Now to my dislikes... The shower could be much improved. The water doesn't get hotter than room temperature. That is a deal breaker for me when it comes to considering to return again. My room was pretty small so the desk was right in front of the AC unit and the fridge was UNDER the desk. I had to turn the AC off in order to sit at the desk and work. That black frame in front of the mattress is an injury magnet. I bump my shin and knee on it soooo many time. It really hurts, it should be removed. There are no elevators or luggage boats to help carry all your stuff in. Other than that, the place was decent.

Considering the prices in Miami for accomodation, this is good value for money. It's outside downtown, but with a direct bus. So if you don't mind travelling by public transport, this is certainly an option. The hotel does not serve breakfast, but fresh coffee in the morning. A Burger King is on the other side of the street and supermarkets are in walking distance.

In addition to the room rate, the hotel blocks a safety waranty amount on your credit card. Not a problem as such, but should be known at booking stage.

The location was convenient for me, the sheets bed was made for me everyday and the towels were always changed and cleaned. There’s a lot of plug sockets, the AC works really well and there’s also a mini fridge

the room was fairly clean and had nice staff. easy check in and check out.

i didn't like the layout of the bathroom. the bathroom was an open concept. the sower didn't had shower cortine. and i saw a few stains on the bed sheet set

Nice authentic. Older motel that was getting fresh paint while I was there.

It is not fancy (and not expensive). I was staying there to save a little money and I thought it was a good value. Neighborhood is o.k.

parking was a bit of a challenge when we first arrived, as the spaces in the overflow carpark aren’t big enough. we managed to get a space in the morning outside our room.

The housekeeping doing a amazing job.

The restroom they had in the lobby was broken. So when I was checking in, it takes so long for me to go use the restroom.

I like the fact that the staff is always nice and courteous, the hotel is clean, well kept and quiet, it's in a great location not too far away from Wynwood (Which is called the art district and is also a great place to hang out, eat and party) , it's not far away from the shopping district or Bayside which is in Downtown. The prices are very reasonable for a hotel so nice and in a great area. Book NOW!

I didn’t have breakfast. It was interesting to be in a historic motel.

I was not crazy about the neighborhood, there ha nothing else that can be changed about that.
