The Waterfront Inn

What did I think of the breakfast? I heard about a breakfast buffet but no prices so didn’t even bother to go down there. We stayed due to being evacuated and hurricane Ian so I packed breakfast for my kids. But, I enjoyed that everyone was friendly and everything was simple. No trouble. Very clean. No one bothered me. Could do my own thing no matter what time. I honestly don’t think those beds are queen sized. Maybe the frame was because it was much bigger than the mattress, but I was falling off the edge with my 4 year old twins in the bed with me. That’s not normal for a Queen size bed. I was able to push two chairs together to make another bed for my daughter, I asked about a roll away bed but there weren’t any. Loved the shower, loved the service and everyone going above and beyond to help and being so friendly, and loved not being bothered.

Explained that above. Just not knowing how much the breakfast buffet cost without having to go down there and the beds seeming smaller than a Queen. Like I said, the bed frames looked Queen sized with all the space around the mattress, but the mattresses were small.

LOUD air conditioner. Had to use earplugs! No room darkening curtains on window. Room was too bright.

Just FYI The hotel holds $50 a day for silly things like if you want to charge for snacks. Basically a resort fee that they give you back but they disguise it as a “security deposit” I stayed for 4 days. Holding $200 is very excessive and unnecessary. You can pay for snacks if you want. No need to hold for that.

Our view

Price, and the fact that a continental breakfast wasn’t offered. Some were given welcome bags some were not. We’re told it just depends if someone makes them or not, however with them made I wasn’t even offered one when I told desk we didn’t receive one when we checked in. Kind of felt they were given to elect guest as I sat in lobby waiting for my party to come down.

it stated the restaurant on premises was open 7 days a week n it was not open Sunday n Monday it is closed on them days . I don’t think that was right of them to advertise open 7 days a week when it is not !!!

It’s in a beautiful area of The Villages with restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. It’s safe to get out and walk to restaurant or entertainment at night or early in morning. Beautifully maintained grounds.

It’s probably getting near time for a renovation as it’s looking a little dated but not seriously so

Nice location

We were in a room next to a suite with adjoining door. on the 15 in the morning the there was too much noise heard in the next room probably due to the door. I asked for a rate adjustment from the front desk but was told they couldn’t due to Booking.com and paying ahead. Booking.com had said that the room was pay at the site. I am not sure about using Booking.com in the future if there will be problems like that in the future.

The location is amazing 🥰 and Amelia's is always a good time and good food bartenders always have a little something new for us to try 🥰🥰 and they don't disappoint

If I had to choose something it would be that the pool closes a little to early for our liking 😞

Location and Staff. Very clean and welcoming.

No breakfast or lunch, and only dinner Tuesday through Saturday. The bed was not comfortable.

Staff was very helpful. Rooms were clean and spacious.

The only thing I didn't like was having to walk through the dining hall to go to the pool.
