Ocean Breeze Inn Vero Beach

Location, location, location. Right on the beach. Amazing beds and linens Onsite restaurant/bar. Beach chair service on site (fee)is worth every penny. Daily cleaning service. Wonderful front desk staff. Beautiful pool with towels provided. Newly upgraded rooms with mini-fridge and coffee makers. We had an issue with a strobbing/ flashing light, we went to the front desk, and a maintenance person was there immediately. On-site washer and dryer for guests to use. Walking distance to everything you could want or need. Ample parking, but we never moved or car for 8 days. You didn't need to go anywhere.

There is a bar next door that may have "rowdy " patrons leaving at 2:00 am that can get loud. This was not the fault of the hotel. There is nothing not to like about this property.

Location was great. Staff was friendly. Lamps weren’t working and door to the bathroom had to be fixed. Staff fixed it. But it continued to fall off the track. Even had to wake my family up to get out of the bathroom in the middle of the night. Stubbed my toe every time I went out the back door. But is to be expected Incase of water surge. But paint it something bright. Had fake grass on our ground floor patio that was nice. But noticed none of the other rooms had it on the ground floor. We were room 136. Rented chairs and an umbrella from the company right on the beach outside the hotel. Was really nice. Especially since I’m a local and live 3 miles from the hotel “LITERALLY” owned a biz across the street for 30 years. So it was nice to leave my chairs and umbrella in the car and pretend to be a tourist and not have to lug everything back and fourth all sandy from the beach. The cost was $30 and might I add…well worth it. As a single mother it was a little well deserved staycation. Wish I could have afforded another night. However that Mulligans restaurant is disgusting!! And Smells even more disgusting than it looks. It’s a shame to have a great location and have such a disgusting restaurant attached. Hotel was great

This room was right in the beach , very nice restaurant attached to hotel, several more within walking distance, pool was very nice and warm, deep end was 8’, and pool was super clean!!! Room was also super clean, had a fridge no microwave, AC stayed cool and room smelled very nice, hotel obviously has a cleaning team that knows what they are doing and great attention to deal in cleaning!, great job clean staff! Keep up the good work!, had plenty of tables with umbrellas and lounge chairs available at pool,

Like everything, but the ice machine did work very good, great hidden gem! Will stay again next trip

Location-steps to the beach! Smaller hotel, less crowding, ample parking, friendliness of all staff we encountered. Room was comfortable for 4 people & clean. Our view was awesome. Very nice pool area & restaurant.

Like many hotels, unless it is a completely non-smoking facility, smoke odors get into the room & were bothersome while sitting out on balcolny. Small problem if it doesn't effect your breathing or bother you personally.

had a great end unit --room #334. Exceeded our expectations, especially considering some past posted evaluations, which seemed to be a little over-picky. Best location on Vero Beach...can walk to everything!

Some cleanliness issues in the room....back of bathroom slider apparently hasn't been cleaned in years and the desk chair needed to be wiped down. Overall still happy with experience, will certainly go back.

I made an error when booking the room thinking the sofa was a pullout. When I asked if the sofa was a pullout the receptionist said no but offered to send up a portable bed. It showed up within 5 minutes with all bedding. We had an issue with the a/c when we walked into the room. Staff installed a new unit within an hour of us checking is. Pool was very nice. Location is perfect. Staff super friendly

Really it was better than expected. The property is 65 years old and I thought it would be a little "tired" but it has been kept up.

Nothing about the hotel - it was a great stay. HOWEVER, I am seriously disillusioned with Booking.com!!! You all described the room as being balcony. When we got a room key from the front office, it was for a first floor room. I questioned the room location and they said, "Yeah, 3rd party websites are always doing that. Saying balcony when really it is just oceanview." In essence giving false descriptions. We rented this room explicitly because we wanted to sleep with the sliding doors open to hear the ocean and didn't feel safe doing that on the first floor. I blame Booking.com for this misleading "untruth" and will not be using your website again! Going forward, we will only book directly from the hotel to make sure we are not given false information.

It was right on the beach and near shops and restaurants. The breakfast special at Mulligans was good and inexpensive. The salt water pool is deep and refreshing.

It’s an older building. The floors were damp. My room faced the road and parking lot. It could be noisy. Drunks were loud on the weekend. The hotel’s fire alarm went off a couple of times, but luckily not when I was sleeping.

It was not what I expected, in that it had exterior access doors, and I'm used to being inside access doors with Holiday Inns, but other than that, staff was great, it was quiet and I didn't hear any noise from neighboring rooms, the beach and pool were lovely, but it was too cold to enjoy them.

Nothing that could be controlled - I don't usually stay at exterior door hotels because of a bad experience I had at a place like that.

Location right on beach. Big rooms. Having Asst Mgr Jennifer Stein book reception decorate and reserve spot on their beach for the ceremony is a must. She relieved a lot of panic since I only had one week to plan the reception. Bride and attendants got ready in someone’s suite. Mulligans on location prepared and served great beach food.

Surrounding restaurants are pricey but great food. If you have a car you can save some. Rooms have refrigerator and some have microwaves.
