Kimpton Overland Hotel - Atlanta Airport, an IHG Hotel

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable with crisp, spotless bedsheets that made falling asleep easy. The front-desk staff were some of the best I've experienced in the US during all my many travels this year. They were super friendly, well-informed, and attentive. The shuttle service to the airport is convenient and the driver was friendly and kind. The driver dropped me off at a different terminal than the one the airline specified. He explained I'd save time and he was absolutely right. I really appreciated that.

The food in the restaurant was below average. The restaurant/bar was short-staffed which seems to be the situation in many hotels and restaurants today. But this would not prevent me from staying here again as everything else about the hotel was exactly what I needed for a quiet, comfortable good night's sleep and speedy access to the airport in the early morning.

I arrived early from an overnight flight from Africa and was appreciative that they were able to check me in early after only a brief wait. The shuttle to the airport and neighborhood restaurants was useful too.

It was sometimes hard to reach staff as they were busy and in the morning there seemed to be only one person working at the desk. I had to have a handyman come to fix the refrigerator light as it was on all the time and it had a glass front. Not good for sleeping!

The room was super clean, and the bedding was very comfortable! I loved the atmosphere of the whole hotel!!! The heated pool was my favorite part, and the on-site restaurant was incredible!!! I highly recommend the rooftop bar as well! The view was stellar!!!

I wish there was a soaking tub in all of the rooms. The room I stayed in the first time was very nice! It had a tub, but the tub was very narrow, which I did not love. It was still deep enough to enjoy though!

Room was very comfortable and clean. Hotel was great. Loved the rooftop.

When we went for the complimentary wine at happy hour, we were told that the white wine it was locked up and nobody had the key. Bar manager was supposed to come in at 3:30pm to open the cabinet. Bar staff were very apologetic but could not do anything. When we mentioned it to front desk people, they were a little condescending.

The room was simply impressive and after many long flights, tremendously welcomed. The Porsche theme, was also really cool and actually, well done and like the car...tastefully done

The WiFi was a bit weird in its process. I would have rather it be an automatic component upon checking into the hotel. Even after registering for the membership. With that said, the front desk was competent, friendly and professional and quickly resolved the matter

The overall style of the hotel was contemporary modern with classy furnishings throughout. The rooftop terrace offered clear views of planes landing at the airport as well as cars at the Porsche driving center.

For a hotel of this caliber, the toilet paper was the cheapest possible. I shouldn't have to buy my own. Also, the internet would not connect to my Apple laptop. The desk agent tried for half an hour but was not able. There was also not an online tech support person available.

Staff was exceptionally courteous and helpful. The location is excellent in the hotel overall is quite modern and well maintained. I will be staying there again!

On their booking.com platform, it could be more easily marked that you can have your parking fees bundled with the room at the front desk. Also, my room was also listed to come with a microwave but did not have a microwave.

The hotel room was spacious, clean, and the bed super comfortable. However, what made the experience memorable was Christie at the front desk after 1:30am. Due to a missed connection, Delta placed me in a hotel (Motel6 by the airport). I ended up booking the Kimpton Overland last minute and it was the best decision. Christie was personable and helped put me at ease after a stressful situation. Thank you, Christie!

nice clean rooms

good hotel shuttle service but it is prioritized for airline pilots/staff. it was unclear from booking app what the intervals of service are— we waited at airport for the shuttle for a bit but ended up grabbing a cab to get to the hotel.

Everything was great! I booked this property because I was attending a Gala at the Delta Flight museum and this hotel was close. At check in I was giving a ticket for a free glass of wine which I thought was so nice and was told that I could take the shuttle to the Delts Flight Museum instead of paying for an uber! Amazing accommodations and great staff!
