Holiday Inn Express Augusta Downtown, an IHG Hotel

Breakfast was good. Except we arrived there at 8:00am and there was no coffee. There was no body around to refill it. i looked for the men and they were outside. So I went in the kitchen and got more coffee.

It was rather warm in the hallways, but the rooms were nice and cool. I noticed their fruit water in the lobby was available and looked inviting, except when I came down the next morning, it was still there from the night before. Not very inviting.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We couldn't get our keys to work o the door. One of house cleaning staff was close and I asked if she could help. They wouldn't work for her so she RAN to the front desk and got them fixed for us. We are elderly and I use a walker and that was a big help for us.

The coffee pot in the room would not work. It was one like we have at home so I knew how it worked. But I got a cup of coffee FULL of grounds!

The breakfast was okay. However not as google as the WINGATE'S breakfast. You ran out of items and did not replenish the items.

There was no one there to heLP u with ur luggage. I am handicap and I had to maneuver this myself. Thank God for the hospi- tality manager, Myisha. ( I believe that I am saying it right. She not only carried my luggage to the car, but she was very helpful with directions and other issues. She has a great personality and such a pleasant attitude. Please keep her here and give her plenty of raises. Thanks for everything.

The bed was comfortable. AC worked great. Shower pressure was good.

Our room was not available at the 3:00 check in time. We were finally checked in at 3:30. The hotel has charged my card since checkout for the total amount of the room even though Booking. com charged my card the week before my stay. This has caused me many issues. At breakfast the juice and milk ran out. The workers never refilled them.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. I was staying for the 70.3 Iron Man and was concerned about getting breakfast so early the day of the race. Markeiz saved the day! All the Athletes that were staying were able to eat before our race. For the race you could not ask for a better location. It put every thing within walking distance. It was one of the most enjoyable stays ever!!

They gave me a room exactly where I asked. The room was nice and spacious. The bathroom was clean. The breakfast was good with a variety of things to choose from.

The parking. It was people that working in the area that took up 2 parks that would be close to the door. They even had people that was parking on the grass.

As with the last the property is in a great location to the Medical Center. The staff are all great. The room has one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept on in a hotel….we’ll definitely stay again when we have need to go back.

Maybe a few stiffer pillows…they were super soft…but I don’t sleep so flat at the head.

The beds were extremely comfortable and it was very clean. Staff was exceptional at check in and out. All amenities were open and available to use. Nothing was out of order which was shocking in the COVID season. Location was close to most of the tourist attractions and favorite stores like gas stations and family dollar etc... Really enjoyed my stay.

The only issues I had were I’ve makers in odd floors and I started on an even floor. I had to leave my floor to go up to fifth floor or down to third floor to retrieve ice, and the toilet in my room sat too low and I struggled to get up which could be a personal problem.

Staff very friendly and very helpful 👍🏼 the facility really need upgrades. Beds are great but the physical place needs a lot of help. The Augusta River walk is beautiful and close to the hotel 🏨

Earlier I stated the hotel facility is OUTDATED. TELEVISION need updating and bathrooms. Commodes were very low to the ground.

The staff was amazing. Everyone from the front desk at check in as well as housekeeping. The breakfast was good as well. The pool was clean and we had so much fun in it.

The price could be cheaper due to the location. There wasnt really anything exciting to do downtown for that price. The are the hotel is in outdated and over run.
