This B&B was flawless. Linda is a dream. I checked in early and could scout all bar 1 room. For a vamp fan, this is every girls dream come true. The amenities are perfect. Worth the money and more to be honest to stay in the salvatore mansion from 1864. I really enjoyed my stay here and for the 5 min walk into town it was so worth it. The grounds are stunning, the architecture is incredible and Linda knows so much about the house. A lot of the furniture is so authentic and beautiful. Some of the rooms have balconies which are really sweet. Unbelievably clean and spotless. It's quiet, I loved it.

Well appointed, lovely and very clean room. It was like walking into an antebellum home and having a private suite. Loved the ambiance and the experience was very positive. I would stay here again.

I like a dark room to sleep in, the windows could use the addition of blackout pull down shades for sleeping at night to prevent the street lights from shining into the room.

The Grand Master Suite was more than anything I could have expected or imagined. The staff had fulfilled all special requests that i had requested, after booking online. I can definitely say it is WORTH the price to stay there in that suite, it is absolutely gorgeous. The breakfast changes day to day, but the food is phenomenal on any day that ends in Y. Head downstairs around 8:30 and you will not be disappointed with the overall look, cleanliness, and taste of the food in the dining room. I LOVED the accommodations that the Twelve Oaks Bed & Breakfast has to offer, and just when you think it can't get any better, WAIT UNTIL YOU MEET THE STAFF. The most down to earth, nicest/sweetest people, ready to help or assist in any way they can. Very knowledgeable, The Staff is what made it a 5 star experience, hands down. Great people, and a lovely hotel with ALOT of history. The staff will actually tell you a little history about the hotel and the town if you head downstairs around 5, they also serve wine and cheese while giving the presentation. So, If you're visiting Covington, head to the Twelve Oaks Bed & Breakfast because this place is a must see!!! 💕

This is an OLD hotel, so it is really NO BIG DEAL. But, I thought I should let you know, there were a couple spider webs behind the couch in the main room of the grand master suite, as well as on the MR. side of the bathroom, underneath the sink. Didn't see any big spiders though, they were just little dust spiders. Also, I was a little shocked by the history behind the hotel. LOL Are there any disclaimers?? My Partner and I REALLY enjoyed our stay and I can't think of much that could have been better other than those two little things. :D

Loved the home and location. Do need more interaction with staff hardly knew anyone was there and did not like fact we booked early and paid way up there and had no shower in our room. Lots of empty rooms as well? Also on third floor no elevators which they stated but would not stay on third floor again. They also served breakfast which was wonderful just felt we had same breakfast over and over.

This place is amazing. It’s so beautiful and the rooms are are nice and spacious. It’s a 5 minute walk to the town square. Our host Hillary was so lovely and made us amazing breakfast. We stayed in the frankly Scarlett suite and the shower was incredible. Best shower I’ve ever had. 100% will try and visit again

We traveled from Uruguay (5095 miles) with the intention of visiting this place, and it was worth it! Our daughter is a fan of Vampire Diaries, and she asked us as a birthday present to see the place where it was filmed. So we made the trip to get to know Covington and surroundings. This hotel is a wonder of a period house Beautifully and elegantly decorated, dressed for Christmas. Spacious and comfortable rooms, each one different. Very good amenities from L'Occitane. Breakfast is delicious, varied and all homemade, with the addition of being served in beautiful style crockery. Impeccable service, very friendly. It has a plus: every day at 5:00 p.m. in the room, they offer a sandwich with the intention of entertaining the guests and exchanging anecdotes. We fell in love with Covington! the city is small but wonderful. Quiet, ideal for walking. We walked from the hotel to the central square, no matter what time it was, he was always calm and reliable. It is an ideal place to rest and dedicate yourself to enjoying yourself. In the surroundings there are beautiful forests, incredible places to visit. Without a doubt, it is one of the places where we would like to make a stop on another next trip, and stay again at The Twelve Oaks.

It would be nice if someone spoke Spanish

The location was excellent. Close enough to town so that we could walk. It was very quiet and the grounds were beautiful.

The only thing I would recommend is when it is full, maybe "assign" times for breakfast. IE. floor 1 attends from 8:30-8:50 am, etc. We did have to wait which was not a problem but you have some guests who may not realize that others are waiting for them to finish and take a little longer. Or make some options that could be grab and go.

The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Our room, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, was very elegant and clean! Wanted to take that tub home with me, lol!! Stunning atmosphere and beautiful decor. Will definitely be returning and wanting to stay longer. Our 17yr old decided to join us at the last minute and they were very accommodating with the adjustments. I slept “like a baby “ however my son said he kept hearing “stuff” and my husband even told me that at some point in the night he was woken by what he thought was the TV in the commons area. Heard 2women talking in muffled voices and a lot of giggles. Found out the next day that the TV in the commons doesn’t work.....🤔.

The breakfast was outstanding! The staff felt like family and went above and beyond my expectations. The location is perfect. Just enough outside the town square to feel a little secluded. I just wish I could have stayed longer.

I honestly have nothing negative to say about the Twelve Oaks. They know how to treat their guests and make them feel right at home.
