Sonesta Simply Suites Atlanta Gwinnett Place

I traveled alone for the first time. Every staff member I came in contact with was nice and accommodating. I had to switch rooms and I was able to without any issue. They made sure I was satisfied with my room and the amenities. I didn't feel unsafe. It was fairly quiet. If I have to travel again for work, I will choose this location again.

There was someone smoking in the room next to me but it was handled quickly.

Loved the location and ease of access. Close travelling distance to eating places and shopping districts. The kitchenette in the room was very well laid out and came with sufficient utensils needed to cook a meal. Staff were very pleasant and attentive. Loved the fact that this hotel has an onsite laundry facility. Wi-Fi signal was excellent, no weak signals nor droppingg.

The heating in the room at the time was not functioning as it should. However, it was repaired two days later after i informed the front desk staff. Some minor cosmetic repairs are needed in the bathroom (at least in the room i stayed). It would be useful to have a little welcome pack of some hand creams and other lotions.

THE LOCATION OF THIS HOTEL IS GREAT. STAFF WAS GREAT. VERY PROFESSIONAL, THE MORNING AND NIGHT CREW WERE VERY HELPFUL. ALEX AND "G" ARE THE ONLY NAMES I REMEMBER, BECAUSE THEY ASSISTED ME WITH CHECK IN AND OUT. BUT ALL FRONT DESK STAFF WAS FRIENDLY. HOUSEKEEPING WAS EXCELLENT, THE HOTEL ALWAYS SMELLED CLEAN AND EVERYTHING IN OUR ROOM WAS ON POINT. NO PROBLEM WITH CLEAN TOWELS OR HOT WATER. I WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN.

SIGNAGE TO HOTEL COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER. THEY HAVE VERY SMALL SIGNS AND WE PASSED IT UP THE FIRST TIME. I WISH THERE WAS SOME TYPE OF BREAKFAST OFFERED, BUT THERE IS A WAFFLE HOUSE RIGHT NEXT DOOR (WALKING DISTANCE)

Room very clean/Bed very comfortable/ I appreciated dishwasher and full size refrigerator in room as well as all kitchen essentials provided. Spacious bathroom a bonus. Having washer/dryers on site another nice plus. All the staff was very personable and helpful.

The access doors were not working for re-entry so you could only enter through main lobby, then walk the long long corridor felt like a mile to room which happened to be right next to the non working door. After 12 hour overnight shift this walk was draining.

The people; great staff morning and night time, the free washers and dryers, and a work-out room w/TV and games to play while you're waiting on your laundry and we most definitely loved how peaceful and relaxing the days n nights have been as well

The price was the main reason we didn't enjoy our stay because we paid 650$ + $25 deposit and after paying it we just shopped around on other prices and 2 to 4 other hotels were doing 325$, 485$ and sum even lower than that for the same amount of days we booked it for!! Almost a 300$ difference... I now wish we would have shopped around 1st but other than the price it was perfectly fine great people and clean enough!!

Faster refills of the hand sanitization stations throughout the property. Excellent WiFi connection. Great location.

Cosmetic repairs needed and inspection of cleaning of the rooms needs to be done. Bed is extremely comfortable and the kitchen studio is well appointed! With minor upgrades this property would easily be a three star.

The room and bathroom are spacious. The shower has awesome water pressure! The kitchenette was super clean and convenient.

The bed was a little too high for me! LOL! If you like a firm mattress, then this is the one for you.

Its so quiet. the staff is super friendly and very sweet. Very kind and super accommodating. Mrs. G was the first person I met. She was soo nice when she greeted me. She explained everything thoroughly. I really appreciate all the staff has done to make my staff super exceptional.

Cupboard variety and selection of snacks are just a little small a bigger selection would be great. Lobby is a little small. Not much I didn't like. Cant really say anything bad about my stay.

Overall, clean, decent value, spacious room. Staff was helpful. And their gym was actually open

Unfortunately, there was some repair work being done on my floor, literally right by my room and for 3 mornings straight I was kept awake by the noise. This sucked because I work nights.

We stayed 2nights.We were VERY PLEASED with our stay..It was very clean,quiet,comfortable,a very good rate and plenty of roomy parking spaces.THE STAFF was very friendly. Cookware and silverware was supplied. There was even a cupboard to purchase a few groceries if you needed something.There was even shampoo,conditioner and shower gel supplied (not the tiny bottles). We will be staying there again whenever we return to Atlanta.I will also be on the lookout for other Candlewood Suites as I travel in the future.
