Quality Inn Richmond Hill - Savannah I-95

I was shocked at the quality of the room and sooo grateful. The dark plank flooring was in great condition and such an upgrade over old carpet. The sink top was granite, or look alike granite, and shape of the cabinet was like a large dresser. I thought it was quite stylish compared to most hotel rooms. The bed was also very comfortable. I also appreciated the number of lights in the parking lot as they provided comfort regarding security for my vehicle because the hotel is right of I95 in GA. Overall it was a memorable hotel stay as short as it was. I wanted to stay on my return trip but unfortunately missed the exit. I was disappointed.

I wished I wasn't so tired as the restaurant located on property looked and sounded great. I would have liked to go.

While traveling, if you are going to be checking in after 8 PM, I usually go for a very inexpensive lodging, accepting I will probably be disappointed, but knowing I'll just be using it to sleep in. This is why I rented this as a stop-over on my way to Florida. WOW! was I pleasantly surprised. The bedroom was equal to a 3 or low 4-star. The mattress gave an excellent sleep. We arrived at 9:15 and would normally have gone straight to bed, but we couldn't resist the huge fire pit that was blazing. We went to the very nice sports bar at the motel, got us a beer, went outside, enjoyed the fire, and watched the Braves on the TV. This may be the best value stay I've had.

The breakfast was a little less than exceptional. Not bad, but gravy was thin, biscuits harder than usual and first eggs were a little dry, but this was all that kept it from being exceptional.

The location was nice- not too far from Savannah but with lots of dining choices nearby. The king bed was comfy and the room was nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The pool was a few steps from our room.

The pool area was a nice set up as well as the attached restaurant that had a variety of darts, pool, cornhole, and beach volleyball.

The old bag who apparently is related to the family that owns the property who just scowled at me as I was walking by her to my semi. I said hello, but apparently southern hospitality was lost on her.

It was quiet and close to a bar with good food.

That the room I reserved through Booking had been 'double booked' and was given a different room. What's the point in using a booking service if you're not given what you ask for?

The bed and pillows were comfortable. Staff was very friendly.

The bathroom was in dire need of a face lift. There were buckling cracks on the walls, the toilet water must've been sitting so long there was a ring around the bowl. The tub and tile looked old and the grout was discolored. The front lobby doors to the walk are in need of paint. Room fridge was in need of defrosting- alot of ice had built up inside.

I loved the courtyard with the pool, volleyball, table tennis, etc, the restaurant was nice, good food, the rooms were good size, and in decent shape.

bed comfortable, shower was excellent, complimentary breakfast is what we expected. Good rate, very close to I95

a bit noisy with I95, but tv drowned out the sound.

The restaurant had amazing food, the rooms were clean but there could be some upgrades done to bathrooms.

It needs a little cosmetic work and the bathrooms could be updated.

close to highway. great pool. Connected restaurant was excellent. great food.

good room but the remote didn’t work and one of the lamps on bed tables didn’t work. all else was good.
