Red Roof Inn PLUS+ & Suites Savannah – I-95

Cleanliness, easy access to bring in pets and very comfortable.

The breakfast could have been better but I understand due to Covid.

The staff was nice and informative upon arrival. We got checked in fast and our room was spotless. We loved the size of the mini fridge. It was plenty big enough for all of our drinks or small food items. The pool was clean and stocked with fresh towels for our convenience. We didn’t have any issues at all!

Nothing against the property itself, but just for your information, it is a little out of the way from major tourist attractions. You can expect to drive 30 minutes at the very least to get anywhere exciting, BUT for the cost of the room it was well worth the extra drive to save the money and get a good value. The only negative thing about the hotel itself was the elevator seemed a little dirty but with the high foot traffic that is to be expected.

hot tub wasn’t hot one of the front desk personnel was a little nonchalant, but everyone else were great.. 11 am check out is literally 11am check out lol

We Booked on line after 3 rooms left for the room we chosen and when we arrived at the RedRoof office and they said they don’t have a room that we had chose on line and was full so we had to change rooms for what they had available and it cost us more because they said if using booking on line, they had discounts and not at the office. 😭 We were not pleased with this one but when we went in the room and we are hard of hearing and the tv has closed caption and it doesn’t work after setting up the CC . Another disappointing experience.

The room was clean. Breakfast was decent. My 5 year old lived the pool. We stayed in room 329 it was huge for a mediocre hotel room. It was a king sized bed with a pull out sofa and there was a padded bench in front of the window. The staff was friendly but busy. We were 20 minutes from downtown and 40 minutes from Tybee.

The hot tub was cold. The parking lot was sketchy at night. we had the same thing for breakfast every morning. Waffles biscuits with gravy and scrambled eggs.

The room smelled like an old ash tray ( old cigarette smoke) I have bad asthma so that was trouble for me with breathing. At 2:00 am heard loud arguing from a couple next to our room lots of cussing and slamming doors then got to hear the make up sex wake us up at 5:00 am

I enjoyed staying at the hotel. Your receptionist Brittany was exceptional. She went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. Brittany made sure every question was answered, and everything I needed was available. My stay was exceptional..... I hope you will let her know how valuable she is to your company. No one seems to care anymore and she restored my feelings about that. It's great to know someone DOES care about someone else. All of the staff I came in contact with was friendly and helpful. The room was exceptional and comfortable.and clean. The foyer and entrance were dirty and worn. The windows as well were in need of a good washing..They had a wonderful breakfast attendant named Dannie and as long as she was working everything was full, hot, and clean as a pin. The 2 mornings she wasn't there Everything was running out , the food was cold. Trash overflowing into the floor. And food all over the counter space. Even the tables were dirty to sit at.

The front desk people seemed to be clueless as to everything...the toilet in our room stopped up and stayed stopped up for an entire night because she never sent anyone to unstop it . I had to use the toilet down the hall by the swimming pool a couple of times for fear of flooding the Bathroom. Eventually what ever was stopping it up corrected itself and we were able to use it again. They were also the ones running the breakfast when it was a mess. Dannie and the lady who cleaned our room were awesome but the rest of the staff were lazy and not friendly at all.

Pool and hot tub was great and bed was very comfy breakfast was good but wish they had sausage or bacon

The shower head was not the best had great pressure just felt like needles and couldn't change the setting to another I tried had 3 options but lost water pressure on one and the other would shot towards the wall or to the curtain so was stuck using the one that felt like needles lol but I would stay again

Good location during travel from NC to Fla. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Quiet enough for decent night sleep in transit.

This hotel needs some TLC maintenance. Hallway upstairs needed vacuuming, toilet and desk in our room were wobbly. These minor things can be easily fixed, and would make a huge difference in overall rating. Breakfast was pretty sparce. Eggs were lukewarm, and orange juice and coffee were either not mixed right or watered down. Freezer in room was full of frost so door wasn't closing tight which made it frost over even more. May have been left ajar by prev guest, but we scraped it out so door at least would close and let desk clerk know so they could check it and fully defrost it prior to next guest. I hope they did it!
