Holiday Inn Savannah South - I-95 Gateway, an IHG Hotel

I did not stay for breakfast. I was there on a red eye in-and-out. I liked the kindness of the staff that was there on the first day. They were very accommodating. The location is one of the best parts of the stay because it is within close proximity to the freeway which is the artery to the city and the beaches.

I did not like that I arrived two hours before check in and was not offered/accommodated with an early check in. I also did not like the attitude of the "manager" at the exit and her disposition on "third-party companies because they charge less for the hotel stays" as the basis for not providing a receipt upon my departure.

Your attendant named LaTonya...at the desk helped us immensely. We signed up for the rewards and were even able to check in early, which helped us a lot. The accommodations were pleasant.

The manager that we encountered 1st was very rude. She was on a personal call and was dismissive when we tried to check in. She walked away from us. She could have possibly caused us to leave.

Nice clean hotel. Friendly staff.

We had been looking forward to pool with grandson and unfortunately it was closed. Understand things happen and would have no problem staying again. Only wish that kind of information was on booking before selecting.

The staff was outstanding. Maurie on the front desk in particular was patient and courteous. He was able and willing to answer any questions we had. Very accommodating in providing a room for family members on the same floor who checked in a day after we did. Service with a smile.

Limited staff which was understandable in these times. Towels and soap limited in the room.

The bathroom fan cover was off. I asked if someone could put it back up. They put it back up but broke the switch faceplate in the process. I also asked for some shampoo because they only left conditioner. They gave me another bottle of conditioner.

The staff was friendly and worked with me when I decided to stay an extra day. I did like they were pet friendly even with the fee.

The location was good if you needed to be close to things in the area. However, it seemed pretty far from downtown and the mall. For my stay it was 5 minutes from my friend's house so it worked for me.

Everything is good. The hotel really look nice. My room is really next to elevator

No one cleaned my room during my stay. I didn't put Do not disturb sign at all. I worked in a hotel industry before for 11 years. Cleaning the room should be daily. I came back to my room after my outing my room wasn't being cleaned at all. Really disappointing. Also no coffee at the lobby and staff at reception have "cant be bother" attitude.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was more than just muffins and was delicious. It was close to the interstate and restaurants.

I had a little trouble adjusting the room temperature.

Nice staff and great location. The beds were very comfortable!

We were sad the pool was still closed and the carpet in our room was torn and was missing a couple spots. We were right next to a supply closet it was a little noisy but still ok.

The location was perfect.

Did not eat breakfast, too expensive. Housekeeper kept "rapping" on the door across the hall with a pen or something making a sharp noise which woke us up.
