Sonder The Drayton

I loved that the apartment is located in the heart of the historic district, within a few minutes' walk from major attractions and restaurants.

I did not like that the luggage storage is not located in the same building and that the hours are not practical. Because of this we had to miss one of our reserved tours.

We stayed in a one bedroom suite in the apartments by Starbucks, and loved our location and place. They really provided everything you needed and more. Since Savannah has so many great restaurants, we didn’t use the stove but it’s nice to have if we booked over the holidays. There is a coffee machine, full refrigerator with ice cube trays, washer/dryer, and dishwasher. I loved their Jonathan Adler bath products. They provide all the necessities (soaps, sponge, coffee, creamer, teas, etc.) so no need for a grocery stop). We had a view of Broughton Street (some trees which provided privacy), and didn’t find it to be noisy at all (stayed Wednesday to Friday - weekends might be but we would expect that since we are conveniently located to everything). In case needed, they provide a white noise machine and ear plugs. The State Street parking garage was across the street, which was a plus (total $25 for 2 days). Check-in and communications were great. We enjoyed our stay so much that we plan to book this place again later this year!

the fact that there was a blood stain on the comforter, the floors were dirty throughout and the shower curtain was rusted and smelled.

Very conveniently located to just about everything downtown!

Windows were very old and the noise from outside was abundant. You could hear every conversation from folks walking past, below and every vehicle that went by. Sounders provided ear plugs on the night stands so they knew it was a loud apartment, but it wasn’t disclosed on the listing as being a concern.

NOISY, Wi-Fi was not working when I first arrived, delay getting into the room, no luggage storage in my building & couldn’t find the storage locker at the main office

-Located next to a clock tower that rings every 15 minutes.

The apartment was perfectly located for our first visit to Savannah. The apartment facilities were very good. There was safe parking very close by. The process for using the Sonder App on our phone to get the access codes was interesting but actually worked very well. We were lucky to be in an apartment during our stay as our second day was affected by a hurricane passing over. The accommodation was very safe and it was a comfortable place to 'hunker down'.

Great location, nice layout, good bed. A little noisy, but that comes with the location. Nice and roomy.

One quibble. Had to call support because couldn’t get the TV to work. No solution offered. Tre problem turned out to be that the batteries were dead in the remote. Like completely dead. Had to go buy some. It’s a small thing but an annoyance that could have been avoided if they just checked these things.

The location. Was as pictured.

Coffee pot dirty, fan blades and baseboards in bathroom were dirty. The noise from the street was significant, window seemed almost nonexistent!
