Holiday Inn Express Atlanta-Stone Mountain, an IHG Hotel

Friendliness of the staff. Cleanliness of the entire property. The amenities, full size body wash, shampoo & conditioner in the shower. Hot breakfast and large variety of items. Microwaveable box items for a nominal fee. We arrived tired after a long drive. We were going out to dinner and it was raining. We purchased 2 Boston Market meals from the lobby mini mart & just settled in. In-room Microwave, fridge, coffee & tea. Also available in the dining room. The bed was very comfortable and so was the chase lounge.

Carpet in rooms. Location of the pool. It was very clean but literally located in the parking lot and no shade.

Close to what I needed to get to, if I asked for something I got what I needed. Nice staff

There was toilet paper stuffed around the sprinkler in the bathroom, it almost looked like they were trying to fill a hole. Someone set off the fire alarm the last night we were there smoking in the bathroom. That was scary because there was no announcement to say if it was real or just a prank or whatever

It was in a good location, quiet area, easy to find. close to food and shopping. It was also a 5 minute drive from family. If was very clean and that was also the first thing I noticed when I went into my room. check in was easy. The staff was friendly, the beds were extremely comfortable. There was a fridge and microwave. They provided shampoo? conditioner and body wash. If you ran out of coffee or tea you could restock downstairs in the dining room. Didn’t get a chance to eat breakfast but appreciated the option. Great stay!

It seemed a little overpriced but with nothing to dislike about our stay it was worth it in the end.

I attend the Holiday Inn Express IGH because Sunday April 16, 2023. Was my Birthday so I had a Birthday Dinner with friends and family. I really enjoyed the hotel everything was great. I will be coming back soon.

I really enjoyed everything I was their for only one night I traveled from Alabama so I liked everything the breakfast was good as well. the rooms were cleared well. We had no issues at all.

Kimberly, the Manager, and Bria, her Assistant, were exceptionally professional, courteous, very welcoming and friendly, and also very accommodating. I had a long, exhausting drive and arrived earlier than expected, just before a major storm. Kimberly arranged with the housekeeping staff to have my room available literally within minutes. Both Kimberly and Bria should be recognized for being outstanding employees and sterling representatives of the Holiday Inn Express brand. The room itself was very spacious, well designed for comfort and relaxation, and also had a nice work space. The King sized bed was luxuriously plush and extremely comfortable. The entire space, and all amenities were immaculate and sanitized to a very high professional standard. Breakfast was exceptional in its variety and quality. I especially enjoyed and appreciated the healthy options such as the egg white and vegetable omelette and turkey sausage.

My only constructive criticism is that the forks and spoons for breakfast should definitely be wrapped in plastic, as the knives were. Given how immaculate the rooms were kept, and the obvious concern for sanitizing during the ongoing Covid crisis, it was a major and serious oversight to have the utensils exposed with the handles down and fork tines and spoons upright with people freely touching them.

The breakfast was good. The pancake maker was broken which was a disappointment during our 3 nights stay.

We stayed on the 3rd floor and between 11pm and 2am the customers in the nearby room were very noisy and kept opening and closing their door. Also, in the hallway it smelled like marijuana. Our room was clean and comfortable. I know that you can't pick and choose your hotel neighbor but maybe there should be room signs to keep it quiet.

I love the accessibility to tourist locations and the front desk staff was wonderful and pleasant, especially Lucas and Renzo. The cookies in the lobby were amazing as well!!

The pool was down during one afternoon but it was up and running by the evening. I was offered another option as well to make my stay more pleasant.

Had a great experience. The rooms were clean, well stocked. They didn’t have much for tv shows (I came into town for a surgery and was in bed most of my stay) but not terrible. The house keeping came daily which was nice and the front desk was super friendly and accommodating! definitely will stay here again if I’m in the area. Walkinf distance to the post office, dollar tree, nail salon, food etc.

Luckily I bring my own shampoo because the shampoo dispenser that’s attached to the wall stayed empty our whole stay. I’m sure they would have filled it if I requested but I had my own so it wasn’t a huge issue. The tv didn’t have many options for shows other than sports and infomercials but again I was in bed a lot more than a normal person because of my surgery so all of these are minor inconveniences.

The hotel was very close to Stone Mtn and was very clean. Staff was courteous & very friendly.

the shower rod (those curved out type) was broken and the shower curtain wouldn't stay closed on either side without rigging it up. The anchors need to be reset. During the night (like after midnight) someone was able to come into our room...they opened the door & we yelled HELLO really loud so they closed it exclaiming "WHAT THE HELL" and did not return. We immediately went to engage the extra door lock (our fault for not doing so in the first place) and placed a chair under the door handle. We did tell the attendant before we left. We were just down from the washer & dryer & someone ran the dryer all night, which you could hear inside our room.

My husband and I were very pleased with this hotel. It was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was hot and good.

The only bad thing I would say was the first 2 days we ate breakfast the biscuits were very doughy and not edible. On the 3rd and 4th day they were fine so not sure what was going on. Other than that, everything was great!
