DeSoto Beach Gardens

Just a short walk to the beach and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Our unit was kind of tucked away and we weren’t bothered by noises from other guests like we usually are.

Our unit had a little private courtyard in front and it was neglected - the planters and flower boxes were empty or dead and the foundation plantings needed to be maintained. Would have made a big difference if it were nice and fresh.

Great sophisticated accomodations and room/apartment right at the beach. Staff was attentive and available. Designated parking spot was refreshing.

The coffee machine was insufficient. Only decaff in the room initially and the machine was missing accessories like a filter. The tv's were not smart tvs.

Everything was great. We loved the place. If only we weren't lied to by booking.com

Booking has the description of the place wrong. Booking said we had 2 bathrooms and a king bedroom and a queen bed and a queen sofa. Wrong. Only 1 bathroom and a queen sofa. All this would have been acceptable if we had known it up front. Do not believe the description of rooms and distance to shops and town. That also was fudged by booking.com. Booking.com needs to get room facts and town facts straight before posting on website.

This cottage suite was very nice. I like that there was a separate living room and a complete kitchen, including a washer and dryer. The bed was very comfortable. We loved that it was on the beach!

If I were to change anything it would be to put a larger sink with a counter to place personal items in the bathroom. Also the bright peach paint could be toned down to a pale peach in the bedroom.

This was a good value. The kitchen was lovely, like it had been recently remodeled. The bathroom was spacious. The bedroom and living area were fine. The patio area was very cute, but everything outside needed a good powerwashing.

The bedroom was a little tight, but it was worth it to have a king bed. Also the extra space in the living room made up for it.

Mere feet away from the north end of the beach. Convenient location in regards to shopping, and eating establishments. Room was very comfortable and parking was only steps away.

Parking area was a little tight but workable.

The bed was very comfortable I'd like that it had a coffee pot refrigerator washer dryer and made it feel like home a little bit the floors we're clean very nice showers just wish it had more water pressure

The rooms can use painting better shower pressure let the customers know that there's two different signs on your tag on your door so if you do need room service or not

Location, privacy and beach. Staff very friendly. Very nice suite.

1. Shower could have been cleaned better. 2. The hardwood floors need some care. 3. The early morning and late night noise above the North Suite.

The location was excellent. We were literally just steps from the beach. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious.

It was sometimes difficult to get items brought to the room after housekeeping was gone for the day. Also the parking was limited even though it was included in the stay.

Booking and check-in and out were a breeze. The room was very spacious, clean, and well located. It was a short walk to the beach and some great local restaurants. We slept well and really enjoyed our stay!
