Palmera Inn and Suites

The location of the hotel is fantastic, situated in a peaceful and picturesque area of Hilton Head Island. The surrounding scenery was breathtaking, with lush greenery and beautiful palm trees that added to the relaxing ambiance. The rooms at Palmera Inn and Suites were clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. My room featured comfortable beds, modern amenities, and a well-equipped kitchenette, which was a convenient addition for preparing simple meals. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job of maintaining cleanliness throughout our stay. Another highlight was the variety of amenities offered at Palmera Inn and Suites. The outdoor pool was a great spot to relax and unwind. The breakfast provided a good selection of options to start the day on a delicious note. In terms of location, Palmera Inn and Suites is conveniently situated near popular attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. It was easy to explore Hilton Head Island's charms from this central location. Overall, my experience at Palmera Inn and Suites was exceptional. The comfortable accommodations, attentive staff, and prime location make it an excellent choice for anyone visiting Hilton Head Island. I would highly recommend this hotel to both business and leisure travelers.

The hotel seemed to be new or newly renovated, so I loved that everything was clean and new. Also had a sink, dishwasher and a large fridge. TV in the room and two queen beds, couch, coffee table and a nice bathroom. We were very happy with everything in the room, beds were comfy and clean. Breakfast was simple but had everything. We didn't try the pool or hot tub, but it looked clean and nice.

Upon arrival the desk concierge seemed very sick and was extremely really hard to understand. No mask on. I prayed I don't get sick. Beds didn't have a classic duvet with a cover, but blanket with a sheet - not a big fan of that type of bedding due to hygiene. Lady that is working in hotel promotion chased us down while getting breakfast, better to offer this at the end of stay or beginning or just send it by email. Unless you have a service animal the pet fee is as high than the price of your night stay.

they need to have staff at the pool I reported the family at the pool and nothing was done she brushed it off they were running everyone away from the pool throwing footballs at other guests and almost hit my kids they were loud and rude do better next time I came to relax not to be disturbed

The front desk staff was very rude, they acted annoyed when asked simple questions. Also, you cannot check in until 4pm (exactly) then you have to wait in line to check in, very much a hassle especially with children who are tired and then having to deal with the rude front desk staff.. will not be returning

Nice hotel, clean, nice outdoor pool area with hot tub. Check in process was great, friendly clerk. Location was a couple minutes drive to the beach. Only let down was breakfast. Due to Covid-19 the hotel is brown bagging cold, pre-packaged sandwiches which need to be microwaved. There is ONE tiny microwave, so naturally everyone stands around it waiting on their turn. If we aren't going to practice social distancing we really need to move on and stop using COVID as an excuse for meager breakfast offerings. Water was not available at breakfast unless you wanted bottled for purchase. No fruit options. Basically, don't book for breakfast! You'll be looking for a place to stop and grab something on your way to the beach each day.

I liked that the room was spacious enough for us. It was me, my husband and my 3 kids( 2months, 2 years, 5 years) and we had plenty of room. The kitchenette was perfect for us. I also thought the breakfast was great. There were scrambled eggs, sausage patties, pancakes, bagels, yogurt, instant oatmeal & grits, fruit, cereal, coffee and juice. The room and everywhere I went on the property were all very clean.

Our hotels pool was under maintenance, which wasn't a problem, the problem was our hotel said we could use Coral Sands to swim but when we got there the employees at Coral Sands acted like they had no idea that we could swim. I ended up talking to 4 different people. They did end up letting us swim but it was a little uncomfortable having to speak to so many different people. Also, if you came back late(after 7pm) it's almost impossible to find parking besides far away from our room. The biggest thing for us was that the bathroom door was a barn style that rolled and 1, there were gaps between the door and wall so no privacy and 2, there was no way to lock it.

Beautiful and clean facility. This was our second stay. We love how close it is to food and shopping. The pool area is very spacious and well maintained. Love the hot tub. We met some great people on both trips. Everyone is so friendly! Terrific value for the money!

The NOISE! We were on the first floor closest to the pool/exit. Never again. We constantly heard people coming in and going outl. We could also hear every loud conversation in the hallway. Also, the doors to the rooms close loudly, so every time someone came in and out there was slamming. Hopefully on our next visit, we can request a room on the second or third floor away from the exits.

The beds didn't squeak every time you moved, the room and bathroom were spacious, the pool was centrally located, and the outside area was beautiful. And since it was about 100 degrees out, it was greatly appreciated that the air conditioning in the room was ice cold. We always love it when we can stay in a nice place AND bring our dog. The breakfast food selection was good. Location was good -- close to restaurants, shopping, and the beach. Having a laundry room was very handy. The price was great for being near the beach!

The weight room needed more weight than 2 and 3 pound dumbells. The breakfast area was too small for the amount of people going through there every morning -- very congested. The beds were really firm. Some people left their dogs in the room when they were gone and they barked a lot. But I guess that's the price you pay to stay where they allow dogs -- there may be some barking.

We loved the entire property and all that was offered. Our room was a bonus! It was spacious with two full bathrooms and we loved the bedroom in the loft! Just excellent!!! The room was very clean to our standards. We also loved the fact that our room overlooked the pool area. We also loved the breakfast offered even though we had a full kitchen with all utensils offered in the room. That was another bonus. It was one of the best rooms we've stayed in a long time.

We would recommend more handicapped parking spaces for the property. We also recommend more signs showing the location of the elevators upon entering the building where your room is located. We assumed the building only had one elevator because we walked right past the elevator upon entering the building. We finally found the building had two elevators at each end of the building the third time we entered. We just laughed!!!
