Coral Sands Resort by Palmera

Everything was excellent! Great stay!

Internet was very slow. An increase in internet speed would be helpful. There was a small leak in the shower stall faucet and the toilet needs to be looked at. The toilet tank refill appears to need attention. These two bathroom items are very minor and just need a quick repair.

The property was perfect for our family trip and had something that everyone could enjoy, from my one year old daughter to my 80 year old grandmother. The pool facility was perfect, the splash pad and the bar were great. Our room was secluded and next to a smaller pool which was nice to go to at night instead of having to walk to the larger pool but did have a LOT of mosquitoes due to draining the nearby pond which my assumption was due to alligators. The walk to the beach was great too and lots of free nearby parking!

The resort itself is a little outdated and could definitely use some modern updates. The carpet is older and could use a cleaning especially because i had babies crawling on it in our room. The pressure from the staff to attend the time share presentation was a little annoying as well.

The location was perfect, near the beach and stores. The kids really loved the free golf cart rides to the beach. The pool was lovely and very relaxing. Lovely place - will definitely stay again.

Each condo gets two parking spots. One in front of the building and another a bit further away. We had two condo's so we had two parking spots in front of the building, and two further away. In the afternoons we could not find any parking in front of our building and had to go park at the front entrance. Which was annoying, but do able. When I mentioned it to the staff, they didn't take any action or show empathy. That was a little bit more disappointing. But that was really the only bad thing - otherwise the place was awesome.

greeting was too much information for a weary traveler, selling etc, discounts on things. I would have been happier to have a refreshing glass of ice water and exact directions to my room. Also, the outside bar/restaurant was not open (seasonable) but it was swimming weather (4/25) and there were plenty of people poolside. There was no restaurant or even snack area available. At least provide the minimal machine snacks and drinks. I was asked to wash and dry my beach towels. I would think that would be part of housekeeping with other bathroom towels?

It's not on the beach but it's a short bike ride to the beach. We love being near Coligny and all the stuff that it has to offer. I also love the pool at Coral Sands.

The pool water was way too warm. I don't know if they're heating it but if you are please stop in the middle of the summer. If you're not heating it then I guess it's just the heat of the Sun and there's nothing you can do about it. Our pool back home here in South Carolina doesn't get that warm so if you like maybe they're heating it to some degree.

The condo was very spacious and clean. It had everything we needed in the kitchen and we didn't need to buy any cleaning products. Communication from the resort before and during checkin was clear and helpful. The resort amenities are great for families, you almost wouldn't need to leave. Coligny Beach and the playground are both a quick walk away. The location is close to everything you need but surprisingly quiet. The resort was so family friendly and offered several activities through the week (some at an additional cost).

We enjoyed the poolside bar for reasonably priced drinks and there was a great playground nearby.

We had hoped to walk to the beach from the property, but it was way too far. From our building, we also had to drive to the resort’s main pool—and there wasn’t a way to get there within the property. We had to exit onto the busy main road and make two left turns to get to it.

Loved the pool area. It was perfect for our family. Room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Location is central to most everything. Resort activities/crafts were fun for our little girl and the staff in charge of them were very friendly.

At check in the staff were not as friendly as I would anticipate/expect at a resort like this, but we had a fabulous time here, so in the big scheme of things it wasn’t a big deal. Otherwise, all other staff were very friendly.

we have been Port OCall timeshare owners for 32 years. we've been checking in for our timeshare at the Coral Sands clubhouse for at least 15 years. the facility is beautiful. we have now stayed at Coral Sands twice. we love the facility and location.

we were NOT recognized as long standing owners, our reservation was screwed up, we were treated like we didn't have a reservation, we didn't get the room we originally signed up for and the treatment by staff was frankly very disheartening.

everything as advertised. great handicap accommodations.
