AC Hotel Chicago Downtown

The hotel was outstanding in every way. Its location is perfect—a few blocks from Michigan Ave., a movie theater, and dozens of exceptional restaurants and a short taxi ride from many world-class museums and cultural offerings. The room was clean, well-appointed, and quiet, and the housekeeping, breakfast buffet, and reception desk staff were all exceptionally friendly, efficient, competent, and professional. Every time I needed help, employees immediately responded. The breakfast buffet is wonderful, offering scrambled eggs, oatmeal, cheeses, meats, nuts, fruits, pastries and much more. Two employees that deserve special commendation are Patrick at the breakfast buffet and Vincent at the reception desk. Both provided over-the-top service.

We loved our stay here. The location is excellent for any touristy activities. Our favorite part was the European inspired breakfast. As a European, I was honestly prepared to be let down, but instead it was my favorite meal during our entire stay in the city! Beds were comfortable, and I think they probably upgraded us since I don't remember booking such a big room. The staff was amazing and so kind! The room was really clean and modern. I love that they didn't have carpet in the room. It made it seem even more clean, modern, and hygienic.

We noticed the elevators were a bit hard to catch since we stayed during a busy season. Thankfully that didn't bother us too much since we weren't hurrying anywhere.

The property exceeded my expectations,was,clean,modern and which I like the most it does not have carpet in the rooms well at least it didn’t has in mine. Staff was above and beyond starting at front desk,maintenance,housekeepers everyone was so welcoming and ready to help you. Amazing experience, best customer service ever if you reading this review and you still doubting about this hotel don hesitate and stop searching this is your best option, great location close to everything,nice,clean modern everything you need.

Well I was going to leave this space in blank, but nothing negative to say

The property is perfectly located in downtown. The parking is fantastic, it seems like a very safe and secure garage, and it was steps from the hotel and enclosed. We didn’t eat breakfast on site, but it looked wonderful. The staff were helpful and kind. The room was clean and well furnished.

The halls were in need of cleaning and there was debris everywhere for two of the three days of our stay. It is close to the hospital so there is a lot of siren noise, even at night. And there was a lot of noise from adjacent rooms late at night. The room was very dark in places (we had to use our phone flashlight to make coffee since there is no light, either natural or electric, in the area.

breakfast was simple and not what i was used to but had a great taste, great atmosphere, the people running it were awesome and very friendly and helpful. We are not high class people but it was nice feeling like it. Thanks .

pool was more for little kids. 3# deep. would of been nice to have some kind of guide paper that says you are here in the hotel, what channels of the tv are available. no where to put clothes except a few hangers.

The location was perfect and that was a major reason to book this hotel. We were little skeptical about the room size because we were 5 guests, but the bed size and even sofa bed was good sized. second major reason was the early check in accommodation. We were traveling at odd hours and reached way before the check in time, but the staff was so cooperative that we checked in like almost 6 hours before the standard schedule. Staff is great and the location is excellent, perfect for a great short trip and everything is at a walkable distance. Overall, it was a great experience.

Stayed at the AC Hotel for my 25th birthday with all my friends. Had an absolute blast! Manny is now considered one of my bestfriends!!!! He’s the greatest he recommended so much good eats and we loved it!! Even brought him a hot dog because he hasn’t had one in a while!! I’m definitely coming back and I’m definitely going to find manny I’m bringing my family along too!!

Location and parking

Internet went down (not their fault). The TV was impossible to see and couldn't be adjusted outward or downward. (They don't have to be bolted immovably to the walls. Other hotels - including Marriotts don't do that.)

Fantastic location, and functionally a good hotel. Had amazing follow up service dealing with a lost item.

Room is a bit spartan feeling in decor, but if you’re there just to put your head down that shouldn’t bother you.

Location is great able to park and walk around to multiple restaurants and shopping without moving vehicle. Room was setup nicely and even the pullout coach was comfortable.

For the pullout coach needed to have blankets and instructions on how to pull the mattress out. Internet connection was slow and tv was slow as well.
