Courtyard Chicago Downtown/Magnificent Mile

Staff very friendly and nice. Waiter in Copper Fox was great! We were there on Saturday 12/10 to relax and have a few snacks. I think his name was Matt? He was very friendly, nice and attentive. Great sense of humor! Food was delicious. The truffle fries were the bomb!! Concierge was very good.

Difficult to get change for cash. I use a lot of cash for the taxi rides. On my way home Tuesday 12/13 the concierge was off duty so the front desk could not break down my money into smaller bills. I get why they are a cashless hotel but it just was a little bit inconvenient.

The location was convenient. The staff were friendly.

I wasn’t told that I could get a pass to use my car. I parked my car in the garage and didn’t move it because of the fear of being charged extra fees every time I left. After I was leaving the parking garage attendant told me I could have got a pass from the hotel to come and go as I please. That was disappointing because my family wasted time using public transportation. We could have used that time to spend doing other things. It would have been helpful to know that we could have used our own vehicle to use around the city when we checked in. Parking for 3 nights was about much as the room! $180! The windows on the 10th floor were so dirty that we could not see out of them at the pool. It would have been nice to to see the view.

I liked it was clean it was also in good location and it also provided parking but I felt that could have been free not 60 bucks a night besides that very happy.

Paying for parking should be provided free I paid over five hundred dollars for two nights and then 120 dollars on top of that just to park I go to a lot of hotels in citys and never got to pay to park infact they usually valett for you.

Great location for going to Navy Pier. Great staff at both front desk and restaurant. Got to check in early when we just wanted to drop off bags. Pool had great sunlight and view and was warm. Room was perfect size and i like having a sink outside of the toilet area. Bed comfy and nice couch to sit on. Nice view of the lit up buildings at night.

Our room was a little too close to the elevator and on a Saturday night people can be a little loud. Traffic noise was a little much for my husband as well.

Great location, very close to Michigan Ave and all the sights we wanted to see and experience. The hotel is clean, the rooms are very clean, and the staff was very nice.

They don't tell you that parking is NOT included with your stay when you check in or when booking. Several guests, including me were all surprised when we checked out and were told that they don't validate your parking and you are then stuck having to pay $62 for a one night stay.

This hotel was exceptionally wonderful. The rooms were very clean and the beds were just as comfy as the one's at home. There was no microwave, but that's alright. Cold pizza is still delicious. The Pool was heated with plenty of lounging space around it, my grand daughter had a blast. We were in the heart if downtown near all the shopping we could ask for and even a Dunkin Donuts 🍩. We would definitely stay again

Everything was wonderful. The only part that was left unexplained was the use of the "key cards". The young lady who checked us in didn't really work the front desk and neglected to tell us what each card was used for. Needless to say we figured it out.

Front Desk Staff were all very friendly, professional, and courteous. Good job there.

I thought I booked at $280 per night for 1 adult but was charged $309, $319, & $339 for 2 adults. The numerous taxes are outside of the base rate, and I am not contesting that. Large room, pool. Clean room and hotel. Friendly staff.

Better quality linen, very wrinkled, rough small tears on edge of top cover. Sheet had some stains. No breakfast included for high price. Parking was $59. Garage sign states 12 hr charge, believe $17?? ...we were parked there from 745 pm 940. Would have been cheaper paying hrly. Rate.

The staff is extremely helpful and pleasant. 10/10 The location is great for shopping on the Magnificent Mile. 10/10 Having the water available in the lobby is very nice.

The hotel could use updating. This is really the only negative about the hotel.

the location was perfect everything I wanted to do was literally in walking distance from my hotel, the valet parking was lovely also because there is literally nowhere to park in Downtown Chicago

there was nothing I didn't like I enjoyed every moment of my stay
