The Gwen, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Michigan Avenue Chicago

The breakfast was delicious and filling. The location was convenient for the things we wanted to do downtown. I will definitely be returning. The complementary popcorn and bottled water was a plus!

The hotel was amazing, clean, and conveniently located. There was nothing that I didn't like about my stay.

First room we had no..second room YES! WHEN USING booking ALWAYS call..they do not always book you the right room..

I enjoyed this hotel very much.. I usually stay at the 5 star hotels while in town BUT this is a beautiful hotel and just as nice! I will come back!

The Gwen was great. I absolutely loved that there was a shopping mall connected to the hotel. We didn't have to go outside. All the sites were within walking distance.

We had reservations for upstairs at the Gwen but we could not go on the terrace because of rain😢

We booked the Gwen after we saw it had won a Conde Nast award and we were not disappointed. The rooms were big, comfortable, there was enough light, huge bathroom.... the lobby/bar area is great and buzzing and staff was really friendly. We would happily come back.

The location of the hotel for us and our anniversary dinner was excellent and walkable for us, which was essential, since we did not have in/out parking privileges. Our breakfast was delicious and delivered according to our specifications/requests.

Andrew from the front desk checking us in was amazing....very attentive and caring!!!(5 stars right there) The server for dinner and breakfast the following morning was polite and the food excellent! What I LOVED about The Gwen was that each and every staff person went beyond in assistance and very polite...love this! ( 5 stars again)

We booked through SNAP TRAVEL, first time using this app and was disappointed that was told our room had a CITY VIEW and only had a close up view of the office bldg. across the way and a white wall to the right....this was disappointing.

my favorite thing about the gwen had to be the rooftop restaurant. Amazing food, drinks are worth the price considering its all alcohol with a splash of juice. The room was beautiful the hallways were beautiful, the front desk area was stunning. The location is absolutely perfect, everything is less than a mile away

If I really had to knit pick I would've preferred different pillows but I really didn't stay in my room long enough to really care at any point lol

Convent location, easy affordable parking, stylish room, clean, quiet, friendly staff

View for “city view” room wasn’t particularly pleasing, but this had little impact on what was overall a very positive stay

The location, the hotel, the bed- very comfortable and sheet we're nice. The bathroom - shower and tub!, seperate toilet area!! , the staff - friendly, helpful and efficient.

The TV in the room. Last time I stayed I don't remember the TV being a monster on the wall. Not welcoming. The room didn't seem as clean I a remembered from the my last visit. It might be due to limited room services during COVID but I would hope extra cleaning is taking place between guests.

I wish I’d know the room would look down inside the hotel I would have paid more for an outside view room. every time the AC turned off and on it sounded like a fire door opening and closing, very frustrating when trying to sleep
