Booked online and was amazed I choose a great place. It is in great location, safe, clean and the fact that every floor has a purified water system with cute sterile disposable water bottles. That was a plus! For me. Contactless check in due to COVID— helps to keep everyone safe. They also have British themed Pub/ Restaurant attached to the hotel.

The room had a superb view and was on the corner of the building. The location was convenient, putting us close to the park and museums of Chicago, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable. The staff were friendly, and helpful, and answered most of our questions. The gym room was a nice bonus.
The TV service was mediocre, and every channel was laggy. My friend and I developed nasty red rashes on our backs, likely from the unclean beds. Also, room service kept knocking on our door every hour on the day of checkout, even though we still had a few hours before we had to checkout, so that was a bit annoying.

It was pretty close to many touristic places in the city. The restaurant next to the hotel is amazing 100% recommended. Room was pretty clean as well.
They should offer breakfast at least as additional. I would have wanted to get a room in higher floor

Great location, near Art Institute & favorite restaurant, walking distance to lots of places and handy to public transit. Room clean, comfortable & quiet. We are a couple traveling with an adult child, & had a queen suite with foldout sofa bed & kitchenette. Kitchenette has mini fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, and sink. Plenty of cupboard space for food we brought. I thought sofa bed mattress looked thin, but kid says it was comfortable. Overall, it worked very well.
Trash was not emptied during the 3 days of our stay. Although room sleeps 3-4, only 2 bath towels provided, and only 1 chair. No blanket or comforter for sofa bed. Not a criticism, but be aware parking is expensive. We reserved a spot in a garage a couple of blocks away, and took public transit during our stay. Garages don’t have in & out privileges, unless you want to pay more for multiple stays.

The employees were more than accommodating. Helpful in every manor. We were there to move our son into his college dorm. We are not used to the city and how things work.. parking, etc. They explained exactly how to navigate to and from, suggested eateries, etc, and made us feel welcome to the city so it wasn't so overwhelming. We also loved the free filtered water! Prices in Chicago are way more than where we are from ... and we drink a lot of water so that alone saved us money, time, and the inconvenience of having to go buy and lug it thru the city and back to the room. That was a huge plus! And also loved the kitchette with a microwave and refrigerator...I always look for that in choosing hotels. Overall, the employees were kind and inviting and we were greeted with a welcome smile. We had an excellent stay and will be back to this hotel on our visits back. 😊
The only thing we had an issue with was the temp in the room was either too hot or too cold. But we just adjusted the thermostat to accommodate throughout the night, so sleeping was a little restless. The room was also a little cramped for us, but wasn't an issue since we were only staying one night. I'll just make sure I get a more spacious one next time

We had a wonderful experience at the Central Loop Hotel. The Location of the hotel is excellent, walking distaince to a center of downtown Chicago. The building is well maintained. Every staff member we encountered, from the check- in to the cleaning staff, were delightful and eager to help. They were able to accomodate us earlier then the usual checkin time. The parking structure is arround the block, the hotel provided a special discounts to park a car, it was so helpful. The room was nice and clean, small fridge and Curig cofeemaker. Overall the hotel had everything we needed for traveling.

-Location was GREEEEEAT!!!!! We were able to go everywhere by foot. Really central from the touristic areas and lots of food options around. -Staff was more than friendly!!! -They had water fountain by the elevator where we filled our water bottles. -Nice room with comfy bed, little kitchen area and a study table also.
-Parking was pretty expensive. I believe it was $60 a day or something like that. We decided to park at a ramp nearby and paid $65 for 3 nights (iParkIt.com) -Elevator was confusing since it's two hotels within one.

The bed was very comfy, the rooms were clean with a large window and bathroom. The staff provided me with a razor and shaving cream, brought it directly to our room. They have water bottles for you to fill and take at no charge by the elevator. Good value and still felt like a getaway in style.
There is no microwave or mini fridge and the location is good. Police presence in the area at night. Have stayed by the river and that is nicer but this was cheaper for 3 nights than 2 on the river.

Everything! The pull out couch is actually quite good and the staff was exceptional. John, helped us get organized as our room was wrong initially. He was very diligent in making sure the entire family was happy and comfortable…he alone made the stay above and beyond what we expected. The rooms were big, comfortable, clean and quiet. They have water bottles you can fill and the elevator system is brilliant and no one was ever waiting…and we were there during lollapalooza! The staff was exceptional!

Adrian at the front desk was so friendly and amazing. The rooms were great and comfy. Like a lot of places there was a little coffee machine in the room but no kettle. My dad asked for one to make tea and they bought him up one in about 5 seconds! I had a room with a kitchenette and everything about it was great. Really nice toiletries supplied too. I also used the fitness room down in the basement and it had everything I needed for a basic workout. They have a meeting and working space downstairs too with tea/coffee facilities which was great. Location was fantastic, short walk to catch the train to the airport and to the art museum and millennium Park. Shops, restaurants everywhere and also the river walk nearby.
Nit picky stuff...a teaspoon or two and a small amount of real milk for coffee etc supplied would be nice rather than that powder stuff that seems to be everywhere over here.
