Sonder The Plymouth

The room was extremely clean and we received more essentials than we have at other serviced apartments: Plenty of laundry pods Plenty of dishwasher pods Plenty of dishsoap Etc The apartment itself was small, and made great use of the space. The fish washer was phenomenal The shower was beautiful.

Minor: 1. The ottoman had a stain on it (could have been cleaned) I turned the ottoman to the cleaner side. 2. The living room furniture was very basic. By this I mean the couch was functional and had little cushioning. The extra chair for the living room was more like an office chair than a living room chair, and had little cushioning.

Very good location, places is spacious, well equipped kitchen, laundry in room.

The security guy is so rude and unhelpful. We got to the place around 11PM because our flight was delayed. I traveled with my 2 babies and wife, we got there around 11pm so we were like scared, concerned, tired and all you want is get to your place and relax but we got there and a guy was at the lobby and didn’t say a word to us and I asked about our room location and he told me what floor but I didn’t know so I told him that I didn’t know so he rolled up his eyes and I told hi like 3 times our room number and he asked again what floor and I was like that’s what I want to know and I had to go by myself to look for my room.

The flat was a good size, well equipped and in a good location. it is comfortable and pleasant. We felt very well during our stay in Chicago.

The day of check in we arrived around 9pm and asked her if she could tell us where to eat nearby and she said she didn't know of any places. Another day, when we returned to the flat in the evening, she was at the Taco Well next door. We asked her a few questions during our stay but at no time was she friendly or empathetic.

Location, equipment, comfort, ease of check-in and check-out, space, value for money, provision of toiletries and basic supplies to get going, got instant and friendly replies to my questions via chat on the app

The blackout did not quite black out the lights at night in the main bedroom. A bit noisy (trains, ambulances or fire engines), but then it is a big city!

It was super close to the L trains and local eateries. Very spacious apartment and included everything that we needed for our visit.

The beds were not comfortable and one of our bathroom doors in our bedroom would not shit because it hit our bed frame. Only 2 of our air conditioning units worked…so we had to keep them really cool to help keep the whole apartment cool. Everything was clean except the air vents…they were filthy. Easy fixes.

All the process from the confirmation of the reservation through the Sonder App, check in, the staying and the check out was smooth, never had any problems, the App has also a chat when they answer immediately.

The neighborhood was a little bit noisy but this has nothing to do with the facilities but the fact that is a great location, nothing that ear plugs cannot solve, also we knew it since it it in the reviews.

Historical building with views of Sears Tower.Nice flat - although slightly crowded with the large dining room table jammed between sofa and stove. Interesting location in the historical district with 1890s sky scrapers (Fisher & Monodnock) as well as 20th century Mies van der Rohe Federal Center just a block away.

Maybe not the safest at night. Parking structure across the street. Loud A/C from roof too nearby.

excellent location within walking distance to many sights. Well-stocked with toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, salt, oil, etc. - as a family of five we didn’t need to buy any basics during our 5-day stay. would definitely stay again!

- It wasn’t sparkling clean with food residue from the last guest, but this wasn’t a major issue as we just cleaned it up. - The dryer was so loud that we ended up air drying the clothes we washed, which also did not present a major problem.

Our three bedroom apartment rental was perfect for our family of 4. It was very clean and updated. We liked the simple, modern fixtures. It felt spacious and provided us with some separation, which was nice. It was quiet and private in the building - we saw only a few others in passing staying on the property. We enjoyed the ping pong table on the 12th floor, as well as the views from the rooftop, as well as our apartment. It felt very safe with keypad for entry. Great location close to shopping and dining! Convenient Divy bike rentals right outside the door, and close to the L, we used both to get around the city.

City life - street noise…to be expected. Across the street from a correctional facility.

Excellent location

The water on the shower was cold every morning, we had to let it run for 30 minutes until it was warm, this is an ecologic crime, in times of draughts to loose gallons of water like this.
