Hilton Garden Inn Chicago Downtown South Loop

Rooms were great, very awesome hot tub and glad the fitness center had elliptical machines. Location by Grant Park and walkable to many places was a bonus too!

Not having an official sign outside was super difficult to find and there is little to no parking in front so it too multiple drives around the block to locate the main door and find a place to pull up for Valet. Valet parking was crazy expensive and the price was not listed through Booking.com nor was it told to me at the front desk. My room was across from the elevator and you could hear EVERYTHING people were saying while they waited...there should be some better way to sound proof against this. The attached restaurant was a joke, horrible service...after being done eating and waiting for forever, I started my timer and it took him over 9 MORE minutes to catch my eye for me to wave him over...I would be very careful encouraging guests to dine there or use it as a plus.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. And the view was spectacular!

The desk in the room had a shiny glass top. Because of this the mouse on my laptop did not work properly and I had to find something to set it on to make it work. A providing mouse pad would be exceptional. The only other knock was when we asked for a breakfast of recommendation on a Sunday morning, and the place recommended to us was closed. Staff should be aware of alternate business hours of the businesses around them for weekends.

location was perfect—booked this for my parents who were visiting us where we live in South Loop. great excuse to try the many restaurants within a block’s radius! although a lake view wasn’t guaranteed when you booked the corner room, the staff managed to book one anyway without us asking so my parents got to watch the sunrise on their wedding anniversary! only feedback is the HVAC seems a bit more dated—my parents mentioned the AC would make a booming sound when it turned on in the middle of the night that would wake them up.

Loveee the location. Near a little of everything! Don’t get me started on the view! I rented the corner king room for the view and they did not disappoint! And i very much appreciated the key access and how not just anyone could go to any floor on the elevator. I unfortunately did not get to enjoy breakfast here but the next time i plan to !

The floor could’ve been vacuumed a little better, there was what seemed to be hot Cheetos on the floor

We stayed in the King Corner Room and all I can say is the views are simply amazing!! We were mesmerized by the city view at night. The Chinese restaurant below the hotel is exceptional. It was only a $12 Uber ride to the heart of the city. We ended up taking the subway for $6 total. There is also an amazing breakfast shop around the corner of the hotel. Overall, I am extremely happy with booking this hotel.

The only complaint I have was that the elevator moves back and forth a lot and made me motion sick, but that is probably just me.

One of the best hotel rooms I've ever stayed in! I chose the king corner room and the view was amazing! It was squeaky clean, it was big, had everything you might possibly need! Valet staff was incredibly nice. Great location! Within walking distance to most of the attractions!

There was a dirty residue on the jacuzzi...We lasted maybe 15 minutes

We attended an event at Soldier Field, this property was nearby.

They had a limited amount of valet parking spots so we had to park a few blocks away from the property. We did not find this out until we arrived at the property, although I did send a message prior to arrival to the hotel via booking specifically asking for information about the valet parking (there was not a response from the hotel on this inquiry prior to our arrival).

Loved the location, very close to the the park. Everything from food, entertainment, the stadium, to the bean, was in walkable distance. Very clean room.

The room wasn't ready on time, about an hour and half later is was. Not a big deal because they will hold onto bags for you until it is. We were able to walk around the city until then. Also, valet parking was full so you have to find your own parking sometimes.

I’ve stay at this location a few times the staff is very pleasant. Ms.Boyd and night shift make the stay very welcoming and safe.

The room that I stayed in 2701 was very noisy the rooms ac unit needs maintenance. I will request a corner king on the opposite side next time not by the elevator the guest were noisy as well.

Was close to the attractions we came for. Aquarium and museum. Room was nice with a great view. So nice to have a pool and hot tub.

Just need to keep the hot tub cleaner. You can see the dirt in the foam and the walls have hair and stuff on the walls. Information on internet said a kids buffet was available. That is not true .
