Holiday Inn Express East Peoria - Riverfront, an IHG Hotel

We drove 3 hours to Peoria to see a concert at Civic Center. The hotel was across the river and really not walkable to venue. It took about 10 minutes to drive, so it was in a good location. There are some fast food restaurants nearby but I recommend going to downtown Peoria which has nice restaurants and walkable area.The parking at hotel is outdoors but they have a nice large lot and plenty of spots. The hotel is clean and rooms are updated. The beds are so comfortable! The staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and had great variety of items. Wifi worked well, pool and fitness center looked nice but didn't use.

The only thing that needs improvement is the coffee. I didn't think it was good at all.

I enjoyed my stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites, East Peoria, IL. Hope we'll see shortly for another future stay at your wonderful hotel 🏨. Thank young very much 🤝

The orange guava juice was tasty, but seemed more like Hawaiian Punch type of drink rather than fresh juice. The biscuits and gravy, as well as the cinnamon roll were good.

We did not like the egg white/vegiterian egg choice at all. None of us wanted it, and we wanted eggs. We also didn't want turkey sausage. We had expected real sausage or bacon. Overall, the breakfast was disappointing due to this.

Breakfast was fine. I like the out of the mainstream location

One of the elevators was broke down and they said it had been worked on several times but keeps breaking down. If I was the elevator company, I would have had someone working on it, weekend or not. My stepdad worked for the elevator company when he was alive and he worked 60-70 hours a week.

Room was clean and spacious. Toiletries was nice addition. Staff was courteous and friendly. Breakfast was great. Many choices and daily changes.

Would have liked breakfast hours to go till 10 am

Very modern, big bathroom, breakfast was better than most. Quiet and location is nice and quiet. Front desk and all other staff we encountered were very friendly and accommodating.

Bed wasn’t very comfortable. Bedding was very heavy. Would have been nice to have a light blanket option for people who don’t like the thick comforter.

Staff was very helpful and kind. Loved that they handed breakfast out themselves. Beds were very comfortable. Loved that the pool and gym were open. Its a wonderful place to stay. Easy access to small surrounding stores and places to eat. Out of the way of traffic and the hustle and bustle of the city.

Unfortunately the bathtub was so slippery that I did slip when getting out of the shower and now have a big bruise on the inside of my leg. My husband slipped as well but he caught himself before he fell thankfully. Had to put a towel in the tub just to keep my 6yr old son from slipping. Could not use the internet unfortunately.

The hotel was very clean and newer. The employees were very nice and seemed happy to be working for the hotel, which showed through to us the guest.

I thought the price was high for the hotel. Over $200 per night.

Breakfast was fantastic. Hotel felt new. Staff was amazing. Great views.

A bit more attention to room cleanliness. It wasn't bad by any means, just some dust balls.

Nice clean hotel in a nice area right next door to bass pro. Beds were comfy and rooms were clean. I would stay here again if I were to visit Peoria in the future. Nice quite area not far from our venue.

The pool a was little small but not a deal breaker for us.
